Boat
Capoeng is a traditional Indonesian liveaboard thoughtfully crafted for divers who want to experience the magic of Komodo in a friendly, low‑key atmosphere. At around 18.4 m (60 ft) in length with a beam of 3.2 m, this compact vessel maximises communal space and comfort while retaining an authentic cruising character that suits both adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts.
Operating primarily around Komodo National Park, Capoeng brings guests to iconic dive sites like Batu Bolong, Manta Point, and Castle Rock — with drift dives, vibrant coral gardens, and rich marine biodiversity all part of daily exploration.
Capoeng features basic modern comforts including a sunny open deck with beanbags, a shaded upper deck lounge for socialising, sunrise coffee spots, and a communal dining area where freshly cooked meals are shared under the open sky.
Capoeng cruises at a gentle pace suited to Komodo’s protected waters, powered by a reliable Mitsubishi engine, and supported by a dedicated crew who ensure smooth navigation, safety, and warm hospitality throughout your journey.
Cabin
Capoeng has 4 cosy cabins accommodating up to 8 guests, each designed for comfort and practicality:
All guests share a freshwater shower and Western‑style bathroom, while each bed includes a personal charging point and night light for convenience.
Power sockets to your convenience (220V/50Hz with round two prong plug. An adapter should be brought with you since it is not possible to buy on the Island.)
Manta Cabin :
Located on the upper deck, this cabin comes with twin single beds with fan ventilation (no A/C), seaview windows.
Black Tip Cabin :
Located on the main deck, this cabin comes with shared bunk beds with air‑conditioning, seaview windows.
White Tip Cabin :
Located on the main deck, this cabin comes with shared bunk beds with air‑conditioning, seaview windows.
Octopus Cabin :
Located on the lower deck, this cabin comes with 3 single beds with air‑conditioning, portholes.
Diving
- 3 dives per day + alternating additional night dives.
- 2 dives will be offered on arrival and departure day.
- All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
- Dive guides ratio often up to 1 guide per 4 divers.
