Built in 2014 and renovated in 2022, M/Y Aml Hayaty is a 38.5-metre mahogany liveaboard designed for diving, kiting and private Red Sea adventures. Her current specification gives an 8.2-metre beam, a maximum of 24 guests and a professional crew of 15. Two 800 hp engines provide a published cruising speed of 12 knots, while two Bauer K14 compressors, a Nitrox system and two RIB tenders support operations away from the mother ship.

The layout separates active and quiet spaces across four levels. The lower deck contains eight guest cabins, crew accommodation and the engine room. The main deck brings together the dive/kite deck, indoor saloon, bar, restaurant and galley. Four additional guest cabins share the sun deck with an outdoor lounge, second bar, bridge and sunbeds, while the fly deck is reserved for open-air sunbathing and navigation space. This distribution gives divers practical access aft while keeping several relaxation areas available between dives.

Inside, the yacht offers air-conditioning, an entertainment system, restaurant seating and chef-prepared meals. Outside are shaded lounges, an open bar, sunbeds and broad viewpoints over the bow and stern. The operator advertises Wi-Fi in selected areas; because offshore reception depends on location and network coverage, continuous connectivity should not be promised.

Photographers have a dedicated camera table, charging stations and a rinse area. These should still be treated as shared working spaces: guests with large housings, drones or multiple battery systems should confirm storage and charging rules in advance. The vessel is also promoted for kite and watersports charters, but a normal dive-safari booking does not automatically include kite equipment, coaching or a watersports programme.

Cabin

The operator's current deck plan is precise: 12 guest cabins for a maximum of 24 guests, and every cabin is described as air-conditioned with a private en-suite bathroom, storage and toiletries. The inventory is divided as follows:

• 6 Lower-Deck Twin Cabins: two separate single beds, portholes, air-conditioning, private shower/toilet, storage and toiletries.
• 2 Lower-Deck Queen Cabins: one queen bed, air-conditioning, private shower/toilet, storage and toiletries.
• 4 Sun-Deck Sea-View Queen Cabins: one queen bed, an elevated sea-view position, air-conditioning, private shower/toilet, storage and toiletries.

This means there are eight lower-deck cabins and four sun-deck cabins. The upper category is physically different because of its deck position and sea-view designation; it should not be sold merely as another lower-deck double. Likewise, “double occupancy” is a pricing term and does not change a twin cabin into a queen-bed cabin. Guests should receive the confirmed deck and bed configuration in writing before payment.

The public pages do not give cabin floor area, mattress measurements, window dimensions, minibar, safe, hair dryer, electrical socket type or whether air-conditioning is individually controlled. None of those features should be promised without confirmation. Cabin requests such as adjacent rooms, a particular deck, twin sharing, single use or mobility considerations remain subject to availability and the vessel's stair-based layout.

Cabin and deck towels plus complimentary toiletries are included on the published mini-safari package. Daily cabin service is not itemised in that package, so its exact frequency should be confirmed. Guests with sensitive skin may prefer to bring their own toiletries, and anyone requiring a specific bedding arrangement should request it before embarkation.

Diving

Aml Hayaty's current dive infrastructure includes two Bauer K14 compressors, a Nitrox system, two RIB tenders, a spacious dive deck, camera table, charging points and a camera rinse area. Standard mini-safari inclusions list 12-litre cylinders and weights. Free Nitrox is advertised for certified Nitrox divers, and certification can be arranged at extra cost. The operator does not publish the standard oxygen percentage, cylinder material, valve type, total cylinder count or maximum simultaneous Nitrox fills; technical requirements must be checked directly.

The four-day northern mini safari advertises up to nine dives, depending on weather and routing. The operator highlights Dolphin House, the Abu Nuhas wreck system and SS Thistlegorm, but the captain may change the order, substitute sites or reduce the dive count for sea state, port instructions, group ability or safety. A check dive is normally used to assess weighting and comfort before more demanding wreck, current or night dives.

Seven-night safaris extend the range to offshore reefs, wreck systems, walls and possible pelagic encounters. The operator does not publish one fixed full-week route on the current general page, so Brothers, Daedalus, Elphinstone or any other named southern site should only be advertised when it appears on the dated departure confirmation. Certification, recent experience and minimum logged-dive requirements can vary by route.

Non-divers, snorkellers and kite groups can use the yacht on appropriate private programmes. However, snorkelling guides, snorkel equipment, kite storage, coaching, launch support and other watersports services are not listed in the standard mini-safari inclusions. They require a written charter or booking specification.

Course prices are stated to include the training fee and PADI online materials. Equipment sizes, instructor language, course eligibility and private-guide availability must be reserved in advance.

Booking and practical conditions:

• A 20% non-refundable deposit secures a booking; the balance is due 90 days before departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Written cancellation 91 days or more before departure forfeits the deposit; 61–90 days forfeits 50%; 0–60 days forfeits 100%.
• Valid dive-accident insurance is required for divers. Comprehensive travel, cancellation and emergency-evacuation cover is strongly recommended.
• Routes and dives may change for weather, port restrictions, mechanical or operational reasons; the captain has final authority.
• Guests must complete medical, liability and operator documentation and be fit for the planned activities.
• Allow a conservative surface interval—normally at least 24 hours after repetitive liveaboard diving—before flying, following training-agency and medical advice.
• Dietary, allergy, mobility and equipment-size requirements should be declared before the final confirmation.
