Description
Boat
Eagle Ray is a 29 meters long and 8.4 meters wide wooden motor yacht. It was built in 1996 and completely renovated in 2017.
Eagle Ray may not be the ultimate deluxe liveaboard in the Maldives but it has a reputation for delivering a great atmosphere and has all the comforts most divers would need.
The main deck has a nice air conditioned salon with a TV/DVD/VCR and a stereo player, a camera shelf with electrical plug. The dining area is serving 3 meals per day with a balanced mixture of local and European cuisine. Coffee and tea 24 hrs available for free. After diving, fresh coconut or biscuits are served. The bar is where you will find fresh fruit juice soft drinks, cocktails, liquors, wine and draft beer.
The upper deck is partially shaded and has chaise longues, chairs and tables and for those who enjoy the sun, there is a top sun deck with mattresses.
Diving is conducted from a Dhoni on which the diving gear remains and which houses the compressors - keeping noise on the mother ship to a minimum.
The aft of the dive deck is equipped with exit ladders and freshwater showers.
Cabin
Eagle Ray has 9 guest cabins, it can welcome up to 18 guests.
All cabins have private bathroom with hot shower, A/C.
2 Double Cabins :
Located on the upper deck, each cabin comes with one double bed, seaview windows.
2 Double Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with one double bed, portholes.
5 Twin Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes two single beds side by side, portholes.
Diving
- 17 dives per week (1 night dive is included per week).
- No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
- Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.
- All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
