Fun Azul Maldives also can be called as M/V BLUE, is a 41.14 meters long, 13.71 meters wide comfortable, spacious dive liveaboard yacht remodeled in 2019/2020.

Fun Azul Maldives provides guests the comfort in and out of the ocean. As Fun Azul Fleet started developing Maldives as a diving liveaboard destination in 2005, and opened a branch office in Maldives and have been training boat crews to provide best service available.

Fun Azul Maldives continually improve the service quality on the crews and develop the best routes while maintaining the highest safety standards. It offers diving liveaboard trips around the most popular atolls/dive sites at maximum comfort.

On the main deck, there is a air conditioned saloon with dining room and a cozy bar. In the saloon, guests can enjoy the audio system, DVD player with lots of movies, CDs, a large TV, and video equipment. There is also a PC station with WIFI on board.

The bar offering a choice of fresh fruit juice soft drinks, cocktails, liquors, wine and beer. (with additional cost)

The kitchen provides a variety of Asian, European, Maldiven and Japanese cuisine. All meals are buffet style and Breakfast is prepared with 6 items which consists of beef bacon, fresh salads, chicken, soup, fruits, curry and rice porridge along with fare of eggs. Lunch and Dinner consists of vegetables, rice, pasta, soup, French toast, fish, Sashimi(raw fish), Sushi and ets. We set up a special lobster dinner on the last day of the trip and a glass of wine with dinner is included.

The large sun deck provide a shade area, lots of sun loungers, a jacuzzi and even Pool/Water Slide.


Cabin

Fun Azul Maldives has 11 guest cabins, it can welcome 22 guests per trip.

All Cabins are equipped with A/C and a private bathroom, fan, safety box, hair dryer, shampoo / conditioner and body soap.

1 Oceanview Cabins (#11):
Located on the upper deck, this cabin is 18sqm in size, comes with one king-size double bed, seaview windows.

1 Oceanview Cabins (#10):
Located on the upper deck, this cabin is 18sqm in size, comes with two single beds side by side, seaview windows.

1 Master Cabins (#9):
Located on the main deck, this cabin is 11sqm in size, comes with one king-size double bed, seaview windows.

1 Master Cabins (#8):
Located on the main deck, this cabin is 11sqm in size, comes with two single beds side by side, seaview windows.

1 Deluxe Cabins (#4):
Located on the lower deck, this cabin is 26sqm in size, comes with one king-size bed, large portholes.

5 Deluxe Twin Cabins (#1 - #3 & #5 - #7):
Located on the lower deck, each cabin has 13sqm in size, comes with two single beds side by side, large portholes.

The Magnificent 7 Atolls - 8D/7N

This tour includes Manta point and Whale-Shark area. In Rasdhoo-Atoll, we can try to search Hammerhead Sharks too!


Baa Atoll Trip - 8D/7N

The route is available Only in the rainy season, we have a chance to see "Aggregation of Mantas"!! We have a chance to see over 50 Manta rays in one dive!! And if you are very lucky, a Whale shark is coming through these mantas.


Vaavu atoll trip - 8D/7N

South Male-Atoll → South Ari-Atoll→ North Ari-Atoll →Vaavu-Atoll
In Felidhe-Atoll we can enjoy dynamic channel dive. Strong in-comming current is pushing big staffs to the corner. On the corner, we have a chance to see Gray-reef Sharks, White tip-reef Sharks and schools of Eagle-rays! If you are very lucky, you might see Great-Hummer!


Full Trip covering from South to North

South Male-Atoll → South Ari-Atoll→ North Ari-Atoll →Rasdhoo-Atoll→Goidhoo Atoll→Baa Atoll→North Male Atoll
We will take you to five Atolls "Baa atoll, North Male Atoll, South Male, South Ari atoll and North Ari Atoll." You have a lot of chance to see aggregation and feeding dance of Manta rays at Baa atoll, on the other, you may encounter WHALE SHARK at Ari atoll.


Deep South Route 1

South Male-Atoll → Vaavu-Atoll→ Meemu Atoll →Thaa Atoll→Laamu Atoll→Gaafu Atoll or reverse.
Limited Special Trip in February and March. This is the only trip with the dynamics of and the true excellence of the Maldivian sea!!! Channel diving is the main diving style. You will be greeted with unexpected big creatures such as school of Giant Barracudas, Bigeye Jacks, and Grey Reef Sharks and Hammerhead Sharks. Side-mount Diving

It is possible to dive side-mount, as long as you follow our trip schedule (Max dive time/ Max depths) and respect No Deco Diving / No Solo Diving. Please bring your own harness due to unavailable on board. Air Extra Tank for side mount will have additional cost.

Central Maldives

Best time for diving
December to April, Central Maldives is suitable for diving year-round, these months are the Northeast dry season, and it's the time for best visibility and weather condition.
The visibility range between 20 - 40 meters year-round. And the currents are usually mild to intermediate. Diving depth range from 10 - 40 meters.

About temperatures
Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 28°C - 30°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives.

North Maldives

Best time for diving
June to November, North Maldives offers great diving all year, especially in the Far North Atolls, you can expect sunny skies most of the year. And in Hanifaru Bay, each year during June to November is the famous cyclone feeding, which is a rare and spectacular event where over 100 manta rays can feed together and create a chain which the head of each manta ray touches the tail of the manta in front. This creates a huge spiral of up to 200 mantas along with their fellow plankton feeders the Whale Shark.

Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives. For the Far North Atolls, currents can be strong with choppy wave action, we recommend only for experienced divers.

Diver requirement
Suitable for divers have AOW level with good drift diving experience, as there can be strong currents in the channels surrounding the islands.
