Description

Boat

Discovery Adventure measuring 47m long and 8.5m wide, cruise at 7 knots, it was built in Fiji back to 1987.

Recently it had her "compeletely revolution" during 2014 to 2016. This boat is running by a professional diving team - Discovery Fleet. They put all thier energy to make sure it remainds the most pleasant and most functional liveaobard for divers.

On the main deck, there is an indoor air conditioned saloon which also include a camera Room, with lots of tables and charging stations. Just outside of the salon/camera Room, there are large rinse tanks for cameras.

And the upper sundeck has a very pleasant outdoors shaded dining area.

Discovery Adventure is an ideal holiday for families with children, the boat sails from island to island in sheltered waters. Every day there is the opportunity to go ashore to discover beautiful beaches, local fishing villages and local markets.

Because it still presently under renovation, more information about this boat will be updated shortly...

1. What are Tubbataha Reef Transition Trips?
Tubbataha Reef Transition 1 is the transition of the ship from Batangas Int'l Port to Tubbataha. Tubbataha Transition Trip 2 the Port of embarkation is Port of Puerto Princesa. Disembarkation will be at the Batangas Int'l Port.

2. What is Tubbataha Regular Trip?
Tubbataha Regular Trip starts and ends at Puerto Princesa. All diving is done in the Tubbataha Reefs National Park.

3.What time does the boat leave on the day of departure/arrive day of arrival?
The ship embark for Tubbataha between 6-8 pm on the day of departure. We advise the guests arrive Puerto Princesa around 2pm.

The check-out time in the vessel is 0800am on the last day, but guests who have later flights are free to remain on board until airport transfer time.

4.Should I be an advanced diver?
Not necessarily. All dives begin with a back-roll onto the reef top which is usually around 15 meters. After everyone has trimmed their buoyancy and are comfortable, the dive leader will then bring the group to the drop off and down the wall. Current is usually present in Tubbataha and thus drift diving is the norm. Divers go with the flow of the current and a chaseboat will be ready to pick them up when they surface.
