My wife and I just returned from our 2nd trip aboard the M/V Carpe Vita (Feb. 2019). This team has been together for some time now and it shows. Food, Service, Safety, and Diving were just Great. Carpe Vita is one of the few giving 10 day trips and 4 dives per day. Max 20 divers and ratio of divers to guides is spot on. Just Diving leave the fancy cloths home bring more bathing suits.....you will be Scuba Diving

I just got back from 10 days on the Carpe Vita. We do quite a lot of live aboards and my son and I really enjoyed the Carpe Vita. The boat is excellent and well thought through. The room is cleaned as soon as you come back form your first dive which is nice. The food is good. It wasn't very adventurous and became a little the same by the 8th or 9th day but kept you happy indeed. Plenty of drinks and coffee were available when ever you wanted one. The dive briefings were very professional and despite varying degrees of experience they went through the "rules" very clearly. Overall though a great diving experience. We had reasonably bad weather and even that didn't stop us from experiencing some magical time in the water. 10 days, 33 dives, saw everything I wanted.

In 2012 March, me and 3 other friends spent 10 days on the live-aboard Carpe Vita. The dive boat was the best i've ever been! And i love the tender how Maldiven liveaboat offered, not only spacious but also compfortable. The diving itself was enjoyable but average. Because most dive sites still had significant dead coral with only a small number containing healthy colourful coral. But the fish and critter life were pretty good. There were a few sharks but they tended to be small. We saw Manta Rays on a couple of dives, three or four of them gave us a spectacular display. There were lots of nudibranchs too, 1 of my friends even saw Manta Shrimp (But not me). We also swam with a 3 to 4m long whale shark, was pretty fun! Overall, I was happy with the critters but bit disappointed for the coral. However, i have to say that the Carpe Vita was amazing so we have no regrets after all .
