Boat
Scubaspa Yang launched in 2015, measuring 50 meters long, and 11.2 meters wide. With its existence, it providing a new and unique concept combining exceptional spa experiences with unforgettable scuba diving experiences in the Maldives. It was designed for divers who travel with non-diving partners and guests with a keen interest in spas, creative gourmet cuisine, yoga activities, stunning itineraries and outstanding service.
Scubaspa Yang promising each guest a dream holiday, and divers of all abilities enjoy unlimited diving throughout their stay. With four spacious decks offer a gym, Jacuzzi, and deck hosting sunset cocktails, star gazing outdoor dinners and an open-air cinema for evening entertainment.
Scubaspa Yang has an Asian style 300sqm Spa deck with facilities consist of six treatment rooms, including one for couples’ therapies, a secluded deck for open-air Thai massage or meditation and a shaded spa lounge for relaxation and yoga.
Unwind from the outset in the on-board spa, the most impressive at sea in the Maldives. The highly-trained spa team are available throughout the day and evening to offer indulgent treatments, including lava shell and hot bamboo massages.
Yoga on the spacious open deck will be guided to suit all levels, from complete beginners looking to gain an understanding of this ancient discipline, to advanced participants who will further benefit from their expertise.
Bathe in the tropical climate on the spacious sun-deck where the crew are on-hand throughout the day. The outdoor jacuzzi is the ideal spot from which to sip a glass of fizz while the sun sets on another day across the Indian ocean.
Scubaspa Yang also has a crew of 30, guests will benefit from a high staff to guest ratio, including four spa therapists, a yoga master, four highly skilled chefs and a guest services manager to ensure excellent service.
Creative cuisine caters for all tastes and dietary requirements, with no set menus to follow. Pick from the bountiful seafood, juiciest cuts and the freshest produce for a culinary delight daily. An extensive wine and champagne list features a carefully curated global selection suitable to toast any occasion.

Scubaspa Yang also has a separate dive boat accompanying it. This ensures the main vessel is undisturbed by the noise and activity. The dive boat is about 20m in length, it carries all the equipment, including air compressors and state-of-the-art nitrox; purpose built for comfort, each has plentiful seating, multiple entry points, stern platform and on-board toilet facilities.
Scubaspa Yang also can provide professional celebration week for honeymoon and weddings. The dedicated Scubaspa team is experienced in the creation of bespoke celebrations, individually created to suit each guest. Cabin
Scubaspa Yang has 19 spacious luxury cabins that can hosting up to 40 guests in utmost comfort :
All cabins are tastefully decorated and all with panoramic sea view or port lights, guests can choose from queen, king or twin bed combinations.
All cabins have ensuite bathroom (with bath robes/towels/hair dryer/shampoo/conditioner/shower gel/body lotion etc.), air conditioning, mini safe, desk & stool/seat, ample hangers & wardrobe organisers and electrical outlets with 200V - 240V.
4 Manta Suites (Cabin 14, 15, 20, 21) :
Located on the main deck, the largest cabin type available, each suite comes with one king-size double bed or two single beds side by side, seating area, 3m wide panoramic window, mini fridge.
1 Manta Suites (Cabin 18) :
Located on the main deck, the largest cabin type available, this suite comes with one queen-size double bed, seating area, 3m wide panoramic window, mini fridge.
3 Dolphin Suites (Cabin 16, 17, 19) :
Located on the main deck, each suite comes with a queen-size doube bed, seating area, 3m wide panoramic window, mini fridge.
1 Cowrie Suite (Cabin 7) :
Located at the bow on the lower deck, this suite has a unique shape with angled, panelled walls. Comes with a queen-size doube bed, a sofa bed that can be transformed into a comfortable single bed, mini fridge, four portholes. the spacious ensuite houses the largest shower on board.
10 Seastar Cabins (Cabin 3 - 6 & 8 - 13) :
Locatd on the lower deck, all have a queen-size double bed and one of the cabins features an additional second bed, two portholes.
Diving
Scuba Holiday package : Inlcude 15 - 17 dives per week.
Scuba & Spa Holiday package: Inlcude 6 dives per week.
No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
Only 2 dives will be provided on the day before departure.
All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Scubaspa allows guests to discover the Maldives the way they wish the most, each guest can pick up 1 out of the 3 holiday packages for the cruise. Each package is focused on scuba diving, spa, or a combination of the two, meaning non-divers will also enjoy sailing the best spots of the Maldives. Each guest has to choose one:
Scuba Holiday Package : Includes 15 - 17 dives, no spa treatments. ( per week)
Spa Holiday Package : Includes 8 spa treatment, no diving activities. ( per week)
Scuba & Spa Holiday Package : Include 6 dives and 4 spa treatments. ( per week)
Please note the exchanging of dives to spa treatments within a package is not available.
The Scuba Holiday Package is only available for certified divers. If you wish to complete PADI Open Water Course you are required to take Scuba&Spa Holiday Package, this course is only available during 7 Nights Holidays, due to its length and intensity. If you booked the Spa Holiday Package you can request a payable Discover Scuba Diving Course. Those who have selected the Scuba Holiday Package may book chargeable spa treatments, depending on availability.

Useful information
Central Maldives
Period : Liveaboards only run trips year round, with the high season being from November to May.
Visa's : Visas are not required in advance but are issued on arrival. Travelers will be issued a 30 days visa free of charge with a passport of at least 6 months validity.
Climat : Northeast Season: December-April (dry monsoon). Southwest season May-November (wet monsoon). Temperatures are around 30˚ C and humidity is 60-80%. Cyclones are rare but possible in April/May and October/November. Average daily air temperature ranges from 28°C to 34°C throughout the year.
Water : Water temps stay consistent all year round at or above 27 °C through the central atolls, sometimes even reaching a balmy 30 °C. Because visibility is so clear, it is best to wear at least a rash vest for some sun protection underwater.
Clothing : Light airy clothes are perfect. Be prepared for plenty of sunshine most of the year.
Plugs : Type G, 2-pin electrical plugs with 230 V @ 50Hz
Flights : International flights arrive directly from many locations to Male. There are reliable and extensive domestic air carriers flying to many places within the country.
- Alcohol and pork products are prohibited. A ‘reasonable quantity’ of tobacco is permitted.
- A local Airport Development Charge (ADC) of US$25 for all international travellers over 2 years of age may be introduced shortly.
Currency : The Local currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR/Rf), but is rarely used on tourist resorts. Most transactions are made in US Dollars but other currencies are accepted. Travelers cheques and major credit cards are widely accepted but 5% may be added for credit card transactions. Banks in Male will cash travelers cheques into US Dollars and Rufiyaa may also be purchased. ATM’s can be found in Male.
