Boat
Raja Ampat Aggressor II is a 42 meters long, 8.5 meters wide wooden Phinisi-style live-aboard that offers great comfort and flair, and at the same time is optimally geared towards supporting a diving operation in terms of safety, convenience, and efficiency. It cruises at 7 - 8 knots and has 220-volt power onboard.
Raja Ampat Aggressor II has been entirely constructed out of Sulawesi iron wood and chosen Javanese teak. While her hull has been painted white, the superstructure, decks and roofs have all been finished with a view towards preserving the natural beauty of the teak wood. All decks and the salon rooftop feature teak parquet flooring. This way, the rustic charm and warmth of a traditional wooden vessel could be preserved.
There is a large salon with separate dining and relaxing sections on the upper deck, with a flat screen TV/media player and stereo, it offering enough space during mealtimes, as well as for chilling out over a chat and drinks with fellow divers, with a book in your hands, or working on your laptop.
The menu onboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of Indonesian feasts and local cuisine. You will awaken to fresh fruits, hot entrees, cereals and juices. Lunches feature delicious local cuisine. Dinners are served each evening and include salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken with a fresh homemade dessert. Once onboard, please speak to the chef about any special needs. Certain special dietary and beverage requests may not be available due to the remote nature of this location.
The Aggressor’s beverage selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, we suggest you bring your special brand. Drinking and diving do not mix. Once you consume alcohol, you become a sunbather until the next day.
Outside the salon, there is a large outdoor lounge area with lounge beds for relaxation. There are 3 separate lounge decks on board - provide enough space and privacy, and can be fully shielded from the sun.
Raja Ampat Aggressor II allows guests to to move about the vessel unobstructed. There are no narrow gangways and staircases. There is a large dive platform is located at the backboard side of the vessel, three easy steps down from the main deck.
The dive stations is divided into two separate sections, both is well equipped. The wet section features personal dive baskets, two large rinsing tanks, filling station and storage for dive tanks. The dry section features large desktop area as work space, as well as to store sensitive (and often bulky) equipment when not in use, large number of power sockets.
Cabin
Raja Ampat Aggressor II has 8 guests cabins, it can welcome up to 16 guests:
All cabins are at least 15sqm in size, private bathroom shower, large closet, individual climate control, monitor with media player and hair dryer.
2 Master Staterooms (#7 & #8)：
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with a qeen size double bed, portholes.
6 Deluxe Staterooms (#1 - 6)：
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with two single beds (not bunk), portholes.
Diving
- 3 dives per day + alternating additional sunset/night dives.
No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.
All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Land Excursions:
In Raja Ampat - A hike through the wooded forest of Penemu is offered to enjoy a scenic view of the islets and lagoons with an occasional visit to the village of Sawandarek where you can dive from the Village Pier. In Misool (South Raja Ampat) there is a visit to the island of Yellit, where the Rangers Station is located. Often there are baby sharks swimming around the shallow waters.
Raja & Halmahera & Lembeh | 13D/12N | 39 dives
Divers will experience warm, shallow reefs resplendent with colorful reef fish and exotic invertebrates and, in the deeper waters, current-cooled seamounts, walls, and pinnacles with sharks and tunas.
The remote island of Halmahera is located between the Molucca Sea to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east and has a unique geography with its four peninsulas enclosing three great bays and three volcanoes. Divers will find exciting dives with plenty of weird and wonderful creatures and pinnacles encircled by massive schools of barracuda and other pelagic fishes.
Land Excursions:

Derawan Islands | 8D/7N | 22 dives
Day 1: Picked up from one of the host hotels and transferred to the Raja Ampat Aggressor. Once all guests are onboard, the adventure begins to the Derawan Islands (approximately 10 hours). No diving this day.
Day 2: 4 dives in Sangalaki Island (turtles and manta rays)
Day 3: 4 dives in Kakaban Island (non-stinging jelly fish lake)
Day 4: 4 dives in Talisayan Whale Sharks
Day 5: 4 dives in Maratua ("The Channel" and "Big Fish Country")
Day 6: 4 dives in Maratua ("The Channel" and "Big Fish Country")
Day 7: 2 dives in Derawan (amazing macro life)
Day 8: Disembark and transfer to the Berau International Airport or partner lounge in the area.
Land Excursions:
A visit to the non-stinging jellyfish lagoon and turtle nursery is offered.
About Embarkation
Guests are encouraged to overnight one night prior to boarding the Raja Ampat Aggressor. Guests who are staying at a local hotel in the vicinity of where the yacht departs from, will be picked up from the local hotel at 12 pm and transferred to the yacht. Guests who will be met at the airport on the charter start day will be transferred to the lobby of the partner Hotel in the city, and then picked up at 12 pm and transferred to the Raja Ampat Aggressor. After all guests are onboard, the Raja Ampat Aggressor will depart. Transfers are complimentary on the charter start/end dates.
About Disembarkation
Final disembarkation will occur the morning of the last day of the charter. Guests will be transported to the airport for a domestic flight back, to a local hotel if guests are extending their stay.

Raja Ampat
Best time for diving
Mid October to April, the wind then picks up in May until the end of August, causing rougher seas and this means Misool area in the south will be shut from June to September. From July until September the diving in the north still can be enjoyable. The visibility can vary from 10 - 30 meters, current can be from mild to strong at times.
About temperatures
Air : fairly constant between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Most of the embarkation / disembarkation will be in Sorong (SOQ).
Few liveaboards also departs from Waisai (RJM).
The easiest to fly through to & from Sorong (SOQ) via Jakarta (CGK), Makassar (UPG), Bali (DPS), or Manado (MDC).

North & Central Sulawesi
Best time for diving
April to October, with peak season being July and August - it's also the best time to spot whales and dolphins (however, in the peak season, it's usually gonna be super busy, so you need to book your space long ahead). The diving can still be great in late March, November and early December, but the rain are generally a daily occurrence in these months, then the rainiest months will be between January and February but still can have good dives if you don't mind the rain.
The visibility range between 20 - 40 meters, currents are different from one location to another, some have minimal-to-no current, while some other sites can experience strong currents that attract big pelagic fish.
About temperatures
Air : range between 23°C to 32°C throughout the year.
Sea : between 26°C - 29°C, with the Lembeh Strait can be as low as 25°C/26°C during the summer (July/August).
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Halmahera
Best time for diving
October to November and March to May, Halmahera can be dived all year round, but due to the monsoon season, from June to September it can be windy and the sea can be rough. And from December to February is considered as the rainy season.
Visibility is usually very good, ranging from 20-30 meters, Inside the bays the visibility may be less. Currents can be strong in the straits, weak in the areas protected by the islands.

Depending on which itinerary you choose, the embarkation / disembarkation can be in Bitung > Manado (MDC), Ternate (TTE), Bacan (LAH/WUB), or Morotai (OTI). The international airport with the best connections is Jakarta (CGK). You can also route through Bali (DPS) if you prefer.
However, some liveaboard trips will combine Halmahera with other destinations like Sulawesi (Lembeh), Raja Ampat, then the embarkation and disembarkation will be different. So please ask our agent to know the exact port for your trip.

Derawan Islands
Best time for diving
April to October during the dry season, although the Derawan Islands is possible to dive year-round. And the islands receive consistent rainfall throughout the year. If you want to have the best chance to see manta rays, then try the beginning of the rainy season around November or December. The visibility is usually between 10 - 40 meters, with mild to medium currents.

Air : generally ranges between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 30°C
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.
