Boat
Princess Ushwa is a 32.5 meter long, 10 meter wide boat that offers a unique hospitality with its beautifully designed and exotic environment, it is an excellent boat, fast and comfortable !
Princess Ushwa is divided into 3 decks and 2 solariums: The air-conditioned Salon is fully euqipped with TV, music, wifi and computer. And on the main deck, there is also an indoor bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a public use bathroom.
The bar facility in the Salon offers a choice of fresh fruit juice soft drinks, cocktails, liquors and wine with extra charge. The restaurant provide 3 rich buffet meals per day with a balanced mixture of local and European cuisine. Coffee and tea 24 hrs available free.
On the upper deck has an very nice outdoor deck with lounge chairs and mattres.
On the Top deck there is ample terrace with sun beds and mattresses for sunbathing.
The very friendly English speaking crew are on your duty to provide friendly services to make your holiday memorable.
Cabin
Princess Ushwa has 12 air-conditioned cabin, it can welcome up to 24 guests.
All the Cabins are design for your comfort. All cabins are equipped with bathroom, shower and air conditioning.

Diving
- 17 dives per week (1 night dive is included per week).
- No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.

Itineraries
5 Atolls Classical & South
It is the most known route for divers which we have been doing from 16 consecutive years weekly. Thanks to this we know perfectly atolls, channels and where and when it is convenient to approach to each dive site.
On this route, we will visit North & South Male Atolls and Felidhoo to dive in “kandhus” and see pelagics and sharks, such as Miyaru or Devana Kandhu; a great night dive with Nurse sharks, sting rays and jacks near Alimatha; and Ari Atoll where we will dive “Thilas”, Mantas Cleaning Stations, manta night dive, and we will try to find whale sharks to swim and snorkel.
Itinerary: North & South Male, Felidhoo, Ari and Rasdhoo.
Objectives: Pelagics and sharks in the South; mantas, thilas, wreck and Whale Shark in Ari.
Special Classical & South
February and March have the ideal conditions for a complete cruise through the central atolls diving with mantas and whale sharks in Ari atoll, including a manta night dive; action channels atolls on southern Vaavu and Meemu atolls with pelagic life, night dive in Alimatha with nurse sharks, rays and jacks, mantas in Meemu and encounter with the whale sharks at night in the Thaa atoll where we will also try to encounter hammerhead sharks and relax in delicate coral gardens.
Itinerary: North Male, Ari, Felidhoo, Meemu and Thaa.
Objectives: Mantas, day and night, Whale Sharks, day and night, pelagics and sharks in the south channels including hammerheads and coral gardens.
6 Atolls Classical & South
We will extend 5 Atolls Classical & South route with a visit to Baa Atoll at the beginning or end of the cruise. First of all we visit South Male and Felidhoo atolls to see pelagics, sharks, channels as Miyaru or Devana Kandhu, the spectacular night dive of nurse sharks in Alimatha; completing the cruise with Ari Atoll where we will dive colorful thilas, manta cleaning stations and, of course, the whale shark.
We extend this route visiting Baa Atoll and Hanifaru Bay enjoying (on snorkel) the concentration of blankets in the lagoon when the conditions are right (moon, current, tide, plankton). Besides snorkeling in Hanifaru you as we dive thilas Donfan or Dharavandhoo where myriads of colorful fish congregate to the delight the of photo fanatics.
Itinerary: North Male, South Male, Felidhoo, Ari, Rasdhoo and Baa (1st week) and vice versa (2nd week).
Objectives: Pelagics and sharks; mantas in Baa, thilas, wrecks and whale shark in Ari.
Deep South & Southern Hemisphere
The route is unique and outside all traditional circuits. The quality of the dives is extraordinary. The amount of life (schools of jackfish, schools of sharks, mantas, tiger, fox, hammerheads even the whale shark at night ...) and the quality and exuberance of the coral reefs.
1) DEEP SOUTH DOWN / UP:
North Male, Ari, Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu. Objectives: Mantas and Whale Shark in Ari, pelagic channels in Vaavu, Meemu,Thaa and Laamu.
2) SOUTH HEMISPHERE (intermediate stages):
Gaaf Alif – Foamulah – Addu / Addu – Foamulah – Gaaf Alif. Departure and arrival airports Gan and Kooddoo depending on the week.

Central Maldives
Best time for diving
December to April, Central Maldives is suitable for diving year-round, these months are the Northeast dry season, and it's the time for best visibility and weather condition.
The visibility range between 20 - 40 meters year-round. And the currents are usually mild to intermediate. Diving depth range from 10 - 40 meters.
About temperatures
Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 28°C - 30°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives.

The embarkation / disembarkation for Central Maldives cruise will be in Malé, guests need to fly in/out to Velana International Airport (MLE).
Visa Requirements
A 30 days tourist visa is granted for all nationalities on arrival to Maldives. This period of stay is not for the visitor to claim, but lies at the discretion of the Maldives Immigration to grant any number of days less than or equal to 30. Please refer to Maldives Tourist Visa for details.
Vaccinations
Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
Money Matters
The local currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (Rf), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD or EUR.
Most travel-related costs will be billed in the major global currencies such as USD, EUR, as well as credit cards. The ATMs will only provide cash in Maldivian Rufiyaa.
Drones

North Maldives
Best time for diving
June to November, North Maldives offers great diving all year, especially in the Far North Atolls, you can expect sunny skies most of the year. And in Hanifaru Bay, each year during June to November is the famous cyclone feeding, which is a rare and spectacular event where over 100 manta rays can feed together and create a chain which the head of each manta ray touches the tail of the manta in front. This creates a huge spiral of up to 200 mantas along with their fellow plankton feeders the Whale Shark.

Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Best time for diving
December to April offers the best visibility and sea conditions. Although short spells of heavy rainfall can be experienced during the summer months, but this region do offer good diving all year round.
About temperatures
Air : range between 28°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.
Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.
Diver requirement
Suitable for divers have AOW level with good drift diving experience, as there can be strong currents in the channels surrounding the islands.

For the Deep South Atolls (Laamu atoll, Gaafu Alifu atoll, Huvadhoo atoll, Fuvahmulah, Addu atoll), domestic flights are usually required to Addu atoll (GAN), Gaafu Alifu atoll (GKK), Huvadhoo atoll (KDM) or Fuvahmulah (FVM). Longer trips like 2 weeks might depart or return to Male.
