Boat

Princess Haleema is a professional dive yacht running by the famous French liveaboard operator - Seafari Diving Fleet. It provides guests quality time and pleasant moments in the Maldives. It keeps a yearly renovation for the best comfort.

Princess Haleema measuring 36 meters in length and 10 meters in width, with Volvo Engine, it cruises at 9 knots per hour. Onboard, there are 4 decks in total :

On the partially shaded Sky deck, you will find lots of chaise longues, cushioned benches/sofa, as well as an outdoor jacuzzi for relaxation between the dives.

On the upper deck, there are 2 relaxation area : at the front and back of the boat, the front sundeck is completely open, equipped with a sofa. And the back deck, thre is a spacious outdoor lounge with shaded area equipped with lots of cushioned sofa-bed, benches, tables where you can get a cool drink while sea watching.

On the main deck, there is a beautiful & spacious air conditioned salon which also can use as indoor dining area, equipped with sound system (CD player & Tape player), a Plasma TV and DVD/VCR connected with home theatre audio system, Book/Magazine/CD/DVD library, tables, charis, sofas, as well as power supply facilities.

Like other liveaboards in the Maldives, all diving is done from the dive dhoni boat, which provide comfort and function at the same time. All the equipment stay in the dive dhoni (compressors, tanks etc.) in order to keep the noise away from the main boat when filling the tanks.


Cabin

Princess Haleema has 11 beautiful cabins which can comfortably accommodate up to 22 guests per trip.

All cabins are in good size, and each cabin has air conditioning, a private bathroom with shower and toilet, ample storage space, mirror, wardrobe, power supply with 220 volts is available.

2 VIP Suites (Cabin 10 & Cabin 11) :
Located on the upper deck, each with a double bed, a table and armchair, mini refrigerator and lots of seaview windows.

1 Deluxe Twin Cabin (Cabin 13) :
Located on the upper deck, with two separate singel beds, large wide seaview windows.

4 Standard Double Cabins (Cabin 1 - 4):
Located on the lower deck, each with one double bed, and few portholes.

4 Standard Twin Cabins (Cabin 5 - 8):
Located on the lower deck, each with one double bed and one separate singel bed, and few portholes.


Diving

  • For 8D/7N routes: will provide 15 dives + possible additional dives

  • For 11D/10N routes: will provide 22 dives + possible additional dives

  • Only 2 dives will be provided on the day before departure.

  • No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.

  • All diving will provide expericed guide to lead the dive.

According to the Itineraries Island hoping and visits is possible. On dive cruise
snorkeling is not supervised and is offered according to the diving schedule.

Day 1 :
Airport Welcome (signboard “Seafari”), transfer to the boat, check in your cabin.
Last Day :
Check out at 7h30 a.m. Airport Transfer and/or visit of Male. Day use is optional with extra charge.

Central Atolls 7 Nights

The route through North Male Atolls or South (depending on the circuit), and Ari and Vaavu offers many sites known for their abundance of marine life.

Famous cleaning stations for manta rays, Thilas (reef just below the surface) where fish density is impressive, fringing reefs where Mantas Mobula are often encountered and Kandu, channel where the pelagic show (reef sharks, eagle rays, schools of jacks and tuna) is one of the most beautiful in the world.

The Senior Instructor in consultation with the divers and Boat captain will select the route and dive sites based on current, tides and weather conditions in order to make the best possible dive safely.

The first day a member of the Seafari team welcomes you upon arrival at Male airport. The Dhoni (traditional boat used for diving activities) will take you to your boat moored in the protected lagoon of Hulumale. On board the crew will welcome you and after a quick briefing on safety and life on board you shall take possession of your cabin. It is sometimes possible to make a first dive in the afternoon and the boat is usually sailing the day after your arrival in the morning.

Special Deep South Atolls (February to April)

This is a comprehensive cruise itinerary by our experienced teams to offer you the best of Maldives in 10 days. Your cruise will take you off the beaten path through the Male noth and south Atolls, Ari, Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu.

Dive Area: North Male, Ari, Vaavu, Thaa, Meemu, Laamu
Required: CMAS 2* or ADV - 50 dives min.
Depart: from Male or Laamu (Khadhdhoo Airport, KDO)

Central Maldives

Period : Liveaboards only run trips year round, with the high season being from November to May.

Visa's : Visas are not required in advance but are issued on arrival. Travelers will be issued a 30 days visa free of charge with a passport of at least 6 months validity.

Climat : Northeast Season: December-April (dry monsoon). Southwest season May-November (wet monsoon). Temperatures are around 30˚ C and humidity is 60-80%. Cyclones are rare but possible in April/May and October/November. Average daily air temperature ranges from 28°C to 34°C throughout the year.

Water : Water temps stay consistent all year round at or above 27 °C through the central atolls, sometimes even reaching a balmy 30 °C. Because visibility is so clear, it is best to wear at least a rash vest for some sun protection underwater.

Clothing : Light airy clothes are perfect. Be prepared for plenty of sunshine most of the year.

Plugs : Type G, 2-pin electrical plugs with 230 V @ 50Hz

Flights : International flights arrive directly from many locations to Male. There are reliable and extensive domestic air carriers flying to many places within the country.

  • Alcohol and pork products are prohibited. A ‘reasonable quantity’ of tobacco is permitted.
  • A local Airport Development Charge (ADC) of US$25 for all international travellers over 2 years of age may be introduced shortly.

North Maldives

Period : Liveaboards to the north Maldives run trips from September through to May every year.

Climat : Northeast Season: December-April (dry monsoon). Southwest season May-November (wet monsoon). Temperatures are around 30˚ C and humidity is 60-80%. Cyclones are rare but possible in April/May and October/November. Average daily air temperature ranges from 28°C to 34°C throughout the year.

Water : Water temps stay fairly consistent all year round at 27°C, though cooler water can come in from the deeper waters surrounding these northern atolls, with the temp occasionally dropping to 24°C.

Clothing : Light airy clothes are perfect. Be prepared for plenty of sunshine most of the year especially from November to May.

Plugs : Type G, 2-pin electrical plugs with 230 V @ 50Hz

Flights : International flights arrive directly from many locations to Male. Domestic flights to and from Hanimaadhoo are needed to reach the vessels.

  • Alcohol and pork products are prohibited. A ‘reasonable quantity’ of tobacco is permitted.
  • A local Airport Development Charge (ADC) of US$25 for all international travellers over 2 years of age may be introduced shortly.

Climat : Southwest season May-November (wet monsoon). Temperatures are around 30˚ C and humidity is 60-80%. Average daily air temperature ranges from 28°C to 34°C throughout the year.

Water : Because of the deep water surrounding the southern atolls, water temperature range from a low of 24°C to a high of 27°C.

Clothing : Light airy clothes are perfect. Be prepared for plenty of sunshine during this time of the year

Flights : International flights arrive directly from many locations to Male. There are regular flights south to both Kadhadoo Airport and Kahdheedhoo Airport.
