Description

Boat

Neomi is a 47 meters long and 9 meters wide wooden Phinisi-style live-aboard with cruise speed at 7 - 9 knots per hour, built in 2018, it serves diving and leisure trips throughout the Indonesian archipelago.

Neomi is made of teak and ironwood, it boasts spacious lounge areas and an air-conditioned restaurant which has a LCD TV 55”, touch-screen Karaoke with 15 inch subwoofer & 2 active speakers (JBL), DVD player.

There is also a large table outside for those who prefer to dine alfresco. Where you can drink cocktails after diving at this table. There are two brand new jacuzzi on this deck. Great for your sore muscles after a few days of diving. The sun deck is huge. It covers the whole boat and has plenty of sunbeds and 360 degrees view of the area.

Neomi takes safety seriously. The boat is equipped with a satellite phone, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers. It further has an on-board water maker which can produce 10,000 liters / day.

Divers are well taken care of with top-notch diving facilities, including a spacious dive deck with individual gear storage, nitrox available for those certified, dedicated camera room and 2 tenders to make getting to and from the dive site comfortable.


Cabin

Neomi has 10 cozy guest cabins, it can welcome up to 20 guests:

All cabins comes with private bathroom, basin, hot & cold shower and air conditioner, TV, power outlets (European 220V type).

1 Master Cabin:
Located on the upper deck, this cabin comes with 1 double bed cabin (200CM x 200 CM), bathroom with private bath tub, private balcony, seaview windows.

1 Deluxe Cabin:
Located on the upper deck, this cabin comes with 1 double bed cabin (200CM x 200 CM), private balcony, seaview windows.

3 Deluxe Cabins:
Located on the upper deck, each cabin comes with 1 double bed (200CM x 200 CM) or two single beds side by side (100CM x 200CM), private balcony, seaview windows.

2 Deluxe Cabins:
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with 1 double bed (200CM x 200 CM) or two single beds side by side (100CM x 200CM), private balcony, seaview windows.

3 Standard Cabins:
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with 1 double bed (200CM x 200 CM) or two single beds side by side (100CM x 200CM), portholes.


Diving

  • 3 dives per day + alternating additional night dives.

Itineraries

Raja Ampat - Misool | 8D/7N

Day One: Arrival At Sorong Airport
Our Dive Master will escort you to the boat and starting the journey. Safety briefing, boat orientation, crew introduction and necessary dive paperwork will be done before we set sail.

Day Two - Day Four : Misool
Total Dives: 9 Day Dives + 2 Night Dives + 1 Snorkeling. This unique area of Raja Ampat is home to an abundance of marine life. We will visit well known sites such as Farondi, Boo’s Window, Wayilbatan, Shadow Reef and also the highlight of this trip will be swimming at Jellyfish lake. Besides diving, Misol also offers some of the finest snorkeling in the world, with brightly colored soft corals and huge Gorgonian sea fans plenty of excursions in the speed boats to secluded lagoons and hidden areas of natural beauty on Misol Island.

Day Five – Day Seven: North Raja Ampat
Total Dives: 8 Day Dives + 2 Night Dives + Trekking.

Day Eight : Sorong Island
Breakfast will be served and afterwards prepare for disembarkation.


Banda Sea | 8D/7N

Day One: Ambon
Our crew will pick you up from island to our boat and start the day. First there will be a safety briefing, boat introduction, crew introduction and Room allocation on board while we are going to the next destination Pulau Suanggi.

Day Two : Pulau Suanggi
Better known as Manuk Island and is located 20 km northwest of Bandanaira, this island is another remote volcanic island far from human contact where the sea snakes thrive. It also offers a pristine bommies and a huge of sponge corals. And also the absolutely huge schools of barracuda which is not to be missed.

Day Three to Day Five: Banda Neira
Pulau Banda, Pulau Hatta, Pulau Run, Pulau Ai, Pulau Naira. > Offers a number of beautiful coral dive sites with the hard coral reefs and usually end in a soft coral, sea fan- and barrel sponge- covered wall. There are some colony of unicorn fish, Fusiliers, jacks fish and rainbow runners, white-tip sharks measuring almost two meters, napoleon wrasse, dogtoothed tuna, and turtles. But not only the underwater, we will also take you to have a land tour to Benteng Belgica which is the heritage of the Portuguese nation and The Old Church “Hollandische Kerk” which is built in 1600.

Day Six : Nusa Laut
Nusa Laut lies on the east of Ambon which offers some stunning hard coral seascapes. And its reef is a home to myriad of reef fish as well as a few reef sharks and some pelagic vistors. There are also several different species of triggerfish, butterfly-fish and angelfish.

Day Six : Ambon
Beneath the waters of Ambon, animals like Rhinopias scorpionfishes, frogfishes, seahorses, stonefishes, ghostpipefishes, pegasus sea moths, mandarin fishes, nudibranchs, harlequin and coleman shrimps, kauris, wonderpus, mimic and flamboyant cuttlefish, also the famous psychedelic frogfish (Histiophryne psychedelica) can be found here.

Day Eight : Ambon
We will reach Ambon in the morning. Breakfast will be served and afterwards prepare for disembarkation.

Useful information

Alor

Best time for diving
April to November, as this is when both visibility and weather are at their best, while September is the best time to spot Mola Mola. The currents usually are strongest in October and November, making conditions more challenging. From late December until early March, Alor is usually considered as off-season due to the rainy season.

About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 26°C - 29°C, summer months are between 27°C - 32°C.
Sea : between 25°C - 27°C from March to April & October to November, between 27°C - 30°C from May to September. Thermoclines are common year round, the water can drop at times to 22°C or lower.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 5 mm full wetsuit. If you get cold easily, we recommend also bring gloves and a hood, or even a 7 mm full wetsuit.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels of diver from beginners to experienced. However, in the open blue, the current can be strong at times, so divers should to be comfortable with their skills. Embarkation / Disembarkation
Alor liveaboard trips are usually from Maumere to Maumere, guests need to fly to Maumere airport (MOF).
However, some liveaboards often combine Alor with other destinations like Komodo, Banda Sea, Raja Ampat. Then you might only need to arrive or depart from Maumere.

Visa Requirements
Indonesia offers a free visa on arrival service for many nationalities which allows visitors to stay in the country for up to 30 days. A list of countries that are eligible for visa on arrival can be found on the Indonesian Government's Directorate General of Immigration.

Komodo

Best time for diving
May to October, the weather in Komodo is at its best between April and November. During the wet season (December to March) the weather can get a bit windy, with heavy quick rains, sometimes can cause rough surface conditions. However, liveaboards run trips here year-round.

The visibility in the North is excellent at 30 meters or even more, while it ranges between 10-15 meters in the South.
Some dive sites can have significant currents, whirlpools and see downdrafts. Sea conditions might change very quickly. Other dive sites are more quiet and rich in macro, especially in the South.

About temperatures
Air : range between 23°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : in the North Komodo it can be around 26°C -27°C, while it gets colder towards the south where it can drop down to 22 ° C.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year for Komodo area.

Diver requirement
Intermediate to Advanced level, A good level in diving and some experience in drift diving are recommended to participate to Komodo cruise.

Unless the trip is from Bali - Komodo, then the embarkation can be in Bali (DPS).

Banda Sea

Best time for diving
October to November & March to April, the seas are generally calmer during these months and in October to November there is higher chance to see hammerhead sharks. From May to August the surface conditions can get quite rough.

The visibility is generally good to excellent in Banda Sea areas, except in Ambon bay and in other bays for critter dives. Currents are low to moderate on most of the sites, however, strong currents may occur at times.

About temperatures
Air : range between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : range between 26°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 - 5 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement

The embarkation / disembarkation can be in Ambon (AMQ), Kaimana (KNG), Maumere (MOF), Sorong (SOQ), Waisai (RJM), Saumalaki (SXK) etc. As some of the Banda Sea trip will combine with other destinations like Raja Ampat, Halmahera, Triton Bay. Raja Ampat

Best time for diving
Mid October to April, the wind then picks up in May until the end of August, causing rougher seas and this means Misool area in the south will be shut from June to September. From July until September the diving in the north still can be enjoyable. The visibility can vary from 10 - 30 meters, current can be from mild to strong at times.

About temperatures
Air : fairly constant between 25°C - 31°C year-round.
Sea : it is warm all year round, about 27°C - 31°C

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm full wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement

Embarkation / Disembarkation
Most of the embarkation / disembarkation will be in Sorong (SOQ).
Few liveaboards also departs from Waisai (RJM).
The easiest to fly through to & from Sorong (SOQ) via Jakarta (CGK), Makassar (UPG), Bali (DPS), or Manado (MDC).
