Description

Boat

Manta Queen 2 is a 24 meters long and 5 meters wide wooden hull built boat that is manned with 5 dive staff and 6 boat crew.

All meals on board are served buffet style freshly cooked from the on board kitchen. Snacks and fruits are served in between dives. The dinghy will give you the opportunity to spend some time on the beautiful beaches.

Nitrox is also available onboard as well as Nitrox courses (EAN) and a wide range of PADI Courses i.e. Open Water Course, Advanced Open Water Course, Deep Speciality and many more.


Cabin

Manta Queen 2 accommodates 20 guests in comfortable air-conditioned cabins of which three different types are available: Twin beds cabins, Double bed cabins and one 4 beds cabin to suit groups and families.

3 Double bed cabins: Equipped with one double bed.

5 Twin beds cabins: Equipped with 2 single beds.

1 Four beds cabin: Equipped with 4 single beds (bunk-bed style).


Diving

  • Marine Park entry and dive fees for Similan and Surin Islands are included.

  • Courses are available on request.

  • 12 dives (including night dives) per trip.

  • Full set of high quality dive equipment included.

  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

The below itinerary is the plan, but is subject to last-minute changes for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all guests on board. This normally applies to sea or weather conditions or crowded dive sites, but can also be due to a dive site being especially good and the cruise leader deciding to dive it again.

Useful information

Similan Islands

Period : Liveaboards run trips only when the park is open, from early November through to early May every year.

Visa's : Most nationalities do not require a visa for stays less than 30-days, some nationalities can recive a visa for 15 days upon arrival with 1,000 THB fee. However, please contact the Thai consulate nearest you for more updated information.

Climat : The sunny dry season runs from November to May, with April and May the warmest. The monsoon is from June through to September every year. Average temps stay constant around 28°C.

Water : Water temps stay at or above 27°C throughout the diving season, but there can be thermoclines where the temp drops down to 25°C.

Clothing : Light clothes are recommended throughout the year.

Plugs : Type A & C with 220 V @ 50Hz

Flights : International flights arrive daily directly Phuket International airport, along with many domestic daily flights from Bangkok and other part of Thailand.

Currency : Local currency is the Thai Baht (THB). Banks change currencies from all over the world at good rates. There are also many ATMs distributed throughout the country and credit cards are accepted nearly everywhere.
