Description

Boat

Mosaique is a super deluxe liveaboard built in 2011 and refurnished in 2017. If you're looking for the ultimate way to travel the magnificent atolls of the Maldives, then this is it.

One of the main design features of the yacht was to encorporate indoor and outdoor living, to let guests enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Maldives from as many vantage points as possible. Other special and unique features of the yacht include a Dive Center, Mosaique Health Club with a gym, Sauna and Spa centre, in-cabin private balconies and outdoor baths.

There is 120sqm of sunbathing space and the large sun deck with a Spa Pool for 8 people provides the perfect place to relax in the sun during the day or to star gaze at night.

There are several communal spaces onboard the yacht including an oversized salon on the main level and a large dining room. There is also a sky lounge with bar and seating on the upper deck. The Main deck and top deck offer outdoor lounges with comfortable sofas.

Mosaique not only offering lots of onboard facilities, such as Spa, DVD library, local bodu beru music show, jacuzzi, Karaoke, water sports gear - Jet Ski, board games, Game station, Internet PABX, but also can provide babysitting day care services (on request, chargeable), children are welcome onboard. Group night fishing trips, snorkeling trips also available during each trip.

Mosaique can provides the most unique Spa's around that you may find. You may either choose to have your treatment either in the beautiful Spa room on board or in the open private deck or even more uniquely have yourself lying down on a beach of a virgin island with the soothing sounds of the waves breaking to the beach or with the singing of the birds..

The experience chefs demonstrate their culinary talents and vast knowledge of World cuisine. Their creations are simple and delicious focused on high quality but carefully defined tastes allowing international travelers to get a taste of Maldivian's culinary style with a wide range of fish especially fresh tuna.

Mosaique also accommodate guests with special dietary needs, such as vegetarian, diabetic, low-fat, low-sodium, low-cholesterol or kosher diets. Please specify the dietary restriction when booking your voyage with us. Fees may apply for special requests.


Cabin

Mosaique has 11 guest cabins, it can welcome up to 22 guests per trip:

All cabins are equipped with A/C, private bathroom, LCD TV, wardrobe, telephone, dressing table, large windows & portholes, baby cots(available on request), work table and chair, iron and iron board(available on request).

1 Sky Light Suite:
Located at the front of the upper deck, 80sqm in size, offering a memorizing panoramic 270 degree sky view. Equipped with a king size double bed, 2 day beds, 42″ LCD TV, private bar and a full sofa set. Also has a private balcony, beautiful bathroom with modern amenities, outdoor bathtub and rain shower. Enjoy at your private sun chair at the room balcony overlooking the breath taking scenery.

4 Sea Breeze Cabins:
Located on the upper deck, 24sqm in size. Complement all aspects of a Sky Light Suite except the sky view. The Sea Breeze Balcony Rooms each have a private balcony, beautiful bathroom with modern amenities and an outdoor bath tub overlooking the scenery.

2 Cruiser Suites:
Located on the lower deck, 26.5sqm in size. Equipped with beautiful and large bathrooms with modern amenities, utilities and facilities, it has a standard double bed and a full size day bed.

4 Cruiser Cabins:
Located on the lower deck, 15sqm in size. Equipped with beautiful bathrooms with modern amenities. The cabins are standard double bedrooms which complement the same luxury boutique designs of the suites, such as flat screen TV, bathtub, shower.


Diving

  • 17 dives per week (1 night dive is included per week).
  • No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.
  • Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.
  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Itineraries

Mosaique will offer the cruising itinerary covering the sailing of two atolls on a week’s cruise, making available the excursions and exploration services to suit the preference of the clients. The itinerary and the sailing route will be finalized with the guests or their agents prior to embarkation.

We cover all central atolls and 30 dive spots that are renowned to the Maldives and International divers’ community. The trip is geared to sight all the big fish from a varied variety of sharks, snappers, wrasse to mantas and whale sharks. The trip also covers night fishing, barbecue nights, cocktail parties, musical events and obviously lots of sea.

The itineraries are prepared to show you the best of Maldives' central atolls covering Hanifaru Bay thoroughly. However, the captain and divemaster will decide on the exact route based on your interests, weather, and timing.


GREAT SOUTHERN

This is the dive route to explore the great southern atolls of Maldives. In this tour, we will cover south most 4 atolls in the six days of diving. Guests will have to take a local flight to Kooddoo Airport after arriving at Velana International Airport. The local flights will be arranged by us upon payment of the trip and necessary documents sent online to our email. This itinerary is for OW and AOWD sometimes with a restriction on minimum dives.

The dive instructor on board is responsible for everyone’s safety and can ask people to refrain from joining on a certain dive out if he or she believes they are not experienced enough for a certain dive. it is also possible for OW and AOWD courses to be done on board, we just need advance notification to ensure the appropriately qualified crew is on board to train the guest.


Maldives Triumph

This is a short and sweet dive route for a shorter stay onboard the vessel. This itinerary is also for OW and AOWD sometimes with a restriction on minimum dives. The dive instructor on board is responsible for everyone’s safety and can ask people to refrain from joining on a certain dive out if he or she believes they are not experienced enough for a certain dive.

It is also possible for OW and AOWD courses to be done on board, we just need advance notification to ensure the appropriately qualified crew is onboard to train the guest. The trip covers partly Male’ Atoll, Ari Atoll, and Vaavu Atoll and geared towards sighting lots of mantas, whale sharks, different species of reef sharks and also gardens of colorful coral reefs with schools of small and big fish.


Underwater Escapism

This is one of the best and most popular dive routes for the guests of our vessel. This itinerary is for OW and AOWD sometimes with no restriction on minimum dives. The dive instructor on board is responsible for everyone’s safety and can ask people to refrain from joining on a certain dive out if he or she believes they are not experienced enough for a certain dive. it is also possible for OW and AOWD courses to be done on board, we just need advance notification to ensure the appropriately qualified crew is onboard to train the guest.

Central Maldives

Best time for diving
December to April, Central Maldives is suitable for diving year-round, these months are the Northeast dry season, and it's the time for best visibility and weather condition.
The visibility range between 20 - 40 meters year-round. And the currents are usually mild to intermediate. Diving depth range from 10 - 40 meters.

About temperatures
Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 28°C - 30°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives.

Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers over the age of 9 months arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.

Money Matters
The local currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (Rf), all liveaboards accept cash payments in USD or EUR.
Most travel-related costs will be billed in the major global currencies such as USD, EUR, as well as credit cards. The ATMs will only provide cash in Maldivian Rufiyaa.

North Maldives

Best time for diving
June to November, North Maldives offers great diving all year, especially in the Far North Atolls, you can expect sunny skies most of the year. And in Hanifaru Bay, each year during June to November is the famous cyclone feeding, which is a rare and spectacular event where over 100 manta rays can feed together and create a chain which the head of each manta ray touches the tail of the manta in front. This creates a huge spiral of up to 200 mantas along with their fellow plankton feeders the Whale Shark.

Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives. For the Far North Atolls, currents can be strong with choppy wave action, we recommend only for experienced divers.

Best time for diving
December to April offers the best visibility and sea conditions. Although short spells of heavy rainfall can be experienced during the summer months, but this region do offer good diving all year round.

About temperatures
Air : range between 28°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for divers have AOW level with good drift diving experience, as there can be strong currents in the channels surrounding the islands.

Most of the embarkation / disembarkation for South Maldives cruise (Meemu atoll, Thaa atoll, Felidhoo atoll) will be in Malé, guests need to fly in/out to Velana International Airport (MLE).

For the Deep South Atolls (Laamu atoll, Gaafu Alifu atoll, Huvadhoo atoll, Fuvahmulah, Addu atoll), domestic flights are usually required to Addu atoll (GAN), Gaafu Alifu atoll (GKK), Huvadhoo atoll (KDM) or Fuvahmulah (FVM). Longer trips like 2 weeks might depart or return to Male.
