Description

Boat

Issara is a 28.5 meter long, 6.5 meter wide strong steel yatch that constructed in end of 2016. It has been designed and decorated beautifully with style, the shapes and the quality of the furniture have been chosen to give guests on board the most desirable comfort and appeal. It is indeed a high-end class liveaboard in the Kingdom of Smile - Thailand.

Issara has been equipped following an high standard of fitting to deliver to guests on board lot of comfort and assure the guests' security on board. It has 4 decks in total :

The top level sun deck is partially shaded and has chaise longues, chairs and tables. It is the perfect place to enjoy the sun and relax while enjoying the beauty of the sea. Here you can also find an outdoor jacuzzi for relaxation.

On the upper deck, there is a wheel room in the front, and a open bridge deck. In the middle of the upper deck, there is a cozy air-conditioned lounge with comfortable sofas, TV, DVDs for entertainment, as well as a self-service bar that provide water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, snacks all day long (Espresso & Iced coffee can be provided free of charge).

The dining area is located outside of the lounge, on the back of the upper deck, it also can be used as an outdoor lounge when it's not meal time. Guests will be served with meals three times a day in buffet style, which contiains soup, main courses and dessert. Besides, there are afternoon tea-time with snacks for hurgry divers.

The main deck is mianly a cabin deck, where most of the guest cabins are located. On the back of the main deck, there are the dive deck and dive platform, equipped with individual set up areas, under bench storage for personal items. Rinse tanks are conveniently located for washing dive equipment and camera gear, whilst there are 2 shower heads for those wishing for a quick post-dive rinse down, and also 1 deck bathrooms.

Issara only aceept charter request at the momnet, it is ideal for dive centre, dive club and big groups.


Cabin

Issara has 11 guest cabins in total, it can accommodate up to 22 guests on board.

All cabins have en-suite bathroom, air condition, TV, storage area, and other cabin facilities.

2 Deluxe Double Cabins :
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with one double bed, with two small windows.

2 Deluxe Twin Cabins :
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with two separate single beds, with two small windows.

4 Deluxe Twin Cabins :
Located on the main deck, each cabin comes with two separate single beds, with seaview windows.

3 Standard Twin Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with two separate single beds, with portholes.


Diving

  • Similan 6D/5N : 15 dives in total.
  • No dives will be offered on the embarkation day.
  • No dives will be provided on the disembarkation day.
  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

16:00 - 19:30 : Pick up from Phuket local hotels or Phuket airport accodring to schedule time.
19:30 - 20:00 : Arrive at Ratchada/(Rassada) port in Phuket Town.
20:00 - 21:30 : Safety briefing, equipment check and light dinner will be served.

Day 2 - Day 4 :
07:00 - 07:30 : Wake up, coffee/tea, light breakfast, dive briefing
07:45 - 08:45 : Check dive
08:45 - 10:00 : Hot Breakfast, relax
10:00 - 10:30 : Dive briefing for 2nd dive
10:30 - 11:30 : 2nd dive
11:30 - 13:00 : Lunch, relax, waiting for dive

09:00 - 09:30 : Check out, transfer back to Phuket hotel or Phuket airport.

Schedule subject to change due to the weather conditions or spotting of large pelagic fish such as Manta Rays or Whalesharks Remark!

The charter follows our normal route and includes the southern Similan Islands of 4-9 and takes in such dive sites as Elephant Head Rock, Annita’s Reef, North Point, Three Trees and goes into Donald Duck Bay. Later in the trip you head to Koh Bon, home to those majestic Manta Rays, before heading up to Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock where weather dependent you can dive here up to three times and have your fingers crossed to see the gently giant Whale Sharks.

South Andaman Sea

Best time for diving
Mid October - May is the optimum diving season on the Andaman coast (west coast). Thailand has a dry and a rainy season : it rains on the West coast during the Summer months (May- October) and on the East during the winter (October- May).

About temperatures
Air : throughout the year, temperatures range from 25°C to 34°C with April through May being the hottest month and January the coldest
Sea : between 27°C - 30°C year round, with May being the warmest and December being the coldest.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend 3 mm wetsuit year round.

Diver requirement

Embarkation / Disembarkation
The embarkation and disembarkation are in Phuket or Khao Lak, guest can fly in/out Phuket International Airport (HKT).
Transfer between Phuket Airport and Tap Lamu Pier (Khao Lak) is approximately 1 ½ - 2hr, depending on traffic.
Transfer between Phuket Airport and Chalong Pier is approximately 1 ½hrs, depending on traffic.

Visa Requirements
Many nationalities can visit Thailand without a visa under the Visa on Arrival rule or Visa Exemption scheme. These options allow visitors to stay for up to 30 or 45 days.

Money Matters
The local currency is Thai Baht (THB). The majority of established hotels and restaurants accept major credit cards.
However, smaller, family-run places probably will not. There are money-changers and ATM machines located at the airport and at the ports.

Drones
Tourists can bring their drones into Thailand. However, they are not allowed to fly their drones here until they have registered their devices with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).

Similan Islands

Best time for diving
Mid-October - May is the optimum diving season on the Andaman coast (west coast). From early December until late April you can usually expect clear skies nearly every day. On average, you can expect 20 meters of visibility at The Similan Islands throughout the diving season.

Due to the likelihood of extreme weather during the monsoon months, the local authorities close the marine parks from May 16th until October 14th every year. Therefore the Similan diving season is from October 15th to May 15th.

About temperatures
Air: throughout the year, temperatures range from 25°C to 34°C with April through May being the hottest month and January the coldest
Sea: between 27°C - 29°C all year round, there are times when it drops to the mid or even low 20s, but in general these are rare or temporary occasions.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a 3 mm wetsuit year-round.
