Description

Boat

Infinity X is a 50 meters long, 11 meters wide steel-hulled vessel that has been built to an uncompromising standard and fitted out with all the latest diving, navigation and safety equipment to ensure that the level of service based on years of experience in the industry and fine tuned with precious guest’s past feedback.

Infinity X holds Bureau Veritas passenger ship classification and Unrestricted Navigation certification, High Sound Insulation system to ensure safety and comfort. A truly moving palace in the sea, tastefully furnished with decorative touches in all onboard functional areas :

The top sundeck is a perfect leisure spot for the Maldivan seaview during the day time, as well as the nightlife hot-spot. You will find a large Jacuzzi for you to enjoy the sun and breeze from the sea. Also a 32㎡ shaded indoor area with 360 degree seaview - the Skyline KTV lounge, with porfessional KTV equipments such as a 100-inch 4K projection system and beatiful lounge facilities. The Skyline lounge will be open from 14:00 - 23:00 daily during the cruise.

Infinity X also comes with an outdoor lounge area on the back, where guests can relax in pravicy.

On the main deck, you will find the 130㎡ grand dining hall with 2 dish serving-tables, the dining hall is able to accommodate all passengers dining at the same time. During the cruise, a mix of freshly prepared lnternational and Chinese cuisine (including the famous hot-pot) with premium beverages option will be offered, plus steamed grouper (every 4-person table) or tuna sashimi for free once a trip. There is a live-tank on board, where crabs(from Sri Lanka), lobsters and all the fish is kept alive for the feast. The chef has a great experience for tasteful meals, and able to accommodate vegetarian and selective non-meat diets.

Infinity X is also equipped with lastest ideas for onboard entertainment such as: banana boat, Water slide, 2 Jet-skis that using the advanced throttle control system (will provide better experience for you!), a large luxury speed boat can be used for Parasailing, Fishing, Boat-surfing etc. Onboard, there is also Traditional Chinese Mahjong set for you and your friends to experice the poker game from the East, Full Wi-Fi and satellite television signal coverage, More than 10000 movies you can enjoy from the LED TV, Bose stereo system for the music and much much more!

Like most of the Maldivan liveaboards, Infinity X also comes with a dive Dhoni - a large auxiliary boat where the air compressors, nitrox membrane and dive equipment are stored. The dive equipment is stored in the dhoni all the week, the tank is refilled after every dive. The Dhoni is completely independent from the boat, so thanks to its maneuverability it is quite easy to access to the dive spots and the divers’ collection is more comfortable. And it keeps the noise of the compressors away from onboard guests and humidity equipment will never be a problem anymore.

Infinity X runs by an international expert team, there are 4 English speaking dive guides + 3 Chinese speaking dive guides onboard to ensure your safty in diving, and 20 ship crew to ensure your comfort during the cruise, you will be treated like a king/queen.


Cabin

Infinity X has 19 thoughtfully designed guest cabins, it can accommodate 30 - 38 guests :

All cabins are 12 - 16sqm in size, with en-suite bathroom, A/C, 4K Satellite LED TV & movie system, mini bar, electricity sockets with USB ports, safety box, wardrobe, Ventilation system with inbuilt air purifier etc.

There are 8 hair dryers onboard can be porvided to guests who need them ;-)

3 VIP Ocean View Suites :
Located on the main deck, the most luxurious suites on board. Each cabin comes with a king-size bed, bedside table, two huge seaview windows.

4 Deluxe Ocean View Suites - Twin Beds :
Located on the upper deck, each suite comes with two single beds side by side, bedside table, a huge seaview window.

2 Deluxe Ocean View Suites - Double Bed :
Located on the upper deck, each suite comes with a king-size bed, bedside table, a huge seaview window.

8 Deluxe Double Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, most spacious cabin onboard, each cabin comes with one single bed and one double bed side by side, large portholes.

2 Superior Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with two single beds side by side, large portholes.

Itineraries

CENTRAL MALDIVES

The route covers 4 atolls in the center of Maldives: KAAFU ATOLL (NORTH MALE + SOUTH MALE), ALIFU DHAALU ATOLL/SOUTH ARI, ALIFU ALIFU ATOLL/NORTH ARI, VAAVU ATOLL.

Day 1 :
Embark and check-in. The ship will anchor in Male' all the time. Embarkation starts at 14:00. You will be taken to INFINITY X from the airport by speed boat / dhoni. After boarding, there’s the check-in and room assignment, followed by the ship and trip briefing. There will be no diving on the first day.

Day 2 - Day 7 :
Day 2 depart early in the morning from Male' and start diving. 3 dives a day, altogether 18 dives in 6 days, including 1 or 2 night dives (according to the weather and water condition). Shall the weather and water condition allow, we’ll pay a visit to an island during the trip and have dinner on the beach. Day 7, dive in the morning and get back to Male' in the afternoon.

Day 8 :
Check-out and disembark. Check-out starts at 9:00 am. After check-out, you will be sent to the airport by speed boat / dhoni. Guests must leave the ship before 10:00 am.


SOUTH MALDIVES

The route covers 5 atolls south of Male': KAAFU ATOLL (NORTH MALE + SOUTH MALE), VAAVU ATOLL, MEEMU ATOLL, THAA ATOLL, LAAMU ATOLL. It is the beginning / ending section of the southern Maldives trip when descending / ascending.

Day 1 :
Embark and check-in. The ship will anchor in Male' (descend) / KADHDHOO (ascend) all the time. Embarkation starts at 14:00. You will be taken to INFINITY X from the airport by speed boat / dhoni. After boarding, there’s the check-in and room assignment, followed by the ship and trip briefing. There will be no diving on the first day.

Day 2 - Day 7 :
Day 2 depart early in the morning from Male' and start diving. 3 dives a day, altogether 18 dives in 6 days, including 1 or 2 night dives (according to the weather and water condition). Shall the weather and water condition allow, we’ll pay a visit to an island during the trip and have dinner on the beach. On day 7, dive in the morning and get back to KADHDHOO (descend) / Male'(ascend) in the afternoon.

Day 8 :
Check-out and disembark. Check-out starts at 9:00 am. After check-out, you will be sent to the airport by speed boat / dhoni. Guests must leave the ship before 10:00 am.


DEEP SOUTH MALDIVES

The route covers 2 atolls: LAAMU ATOLL, GAAFU ALIFU ATOLL. It is the section between the SOUTH MALDIVES route and the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE route.

Day 1 :
Embark and check-in. The ship will anchor in KADHDHOO / KOODDOO all the time. Embarkation starts at 14:00. You will be taken to INFINITY X from the airport by speed boat / dhoni. After boarding, there’s the check-in and room assignment, followed by the ship and trip briefing. There will be no diving on the first day.

Day 2 - Day 7 :
On day 2, depart early in the morning and start the diving. 3 dives a day, altogether 18 dives in 6 days, including 1 or 2 night dives (according to the weather and water condition). Shall the weather and water condition allow, we’ll pay a visit to an island during the trip and have diner on the beach. On day 7, dive in the morning and get back to KOODDOO / KADHDHOO in the afternoon.

Day 8 :
Check-out and disembark. Check-out starts at 9:00 am, after check-out, you will be sent to the airport at KOODDOO / KADHDHOO by speed boat / dhoni. Guests must leave the ship before 10:00 am.


SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE

The route covers 3 atolls: GAAFU ALIFU ATOLL, GNAVIYANI ATOLL, ADDU ATOLL. It is the final destination of the southern Maldives trip. We’ll do this route repeatedly for the most of the southern Maldives trip.

Day 1 :
Embark and check-in. The ship will anchor in KOODDOO / GAN all the time. Embarkation starts at 14:00. You will be taken to INFINITY X from the airport by speed boat / dhoni. After boarding, there’s the check-in and room assignment, followed by the ship and trip briefing. There will be no diving on the first day.

Day 2 - Day 7 :
On day 2, depart early in the morning and start the diving. 3 dives a day, altogether 18 dives in 6 days, including 1 or 2 night dives (according to the weather and water condition). Shall the weather and water condition allow, we’ll pay a visit to an island during the trip and have diner on the beach. On day 7, dive in the morning and get back to GAN / KOODDOO in the afternoon.

Day 8 :
Check-out and disembark. Check-out starts at 9:00 am, after check-out, you will be sent to the airport at GAN / KOODDOO by speed boat / dhoni. Guests must leave the ship before 10:00 am.

Central Maldives

Best time for diving
December to April, Central Maldives is suitable for diving year-round, these months are the Northeast dry season, and it's the time for best visibility and weather condition.
The visibility range between 20 - 40 meters year-round. And the currents are usually mild to intermediate. Diving depth range from 10 - 40 meters.

About temperatures
Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 28°C - 30°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives.

North Maldives

Best time for diving
June to November, North Maldives offers great diving all year, especially in the Far North Atolls, you can expect sunny skies most of the year. And in Hanifaru Bay, each year during June to November is the famous cyclone feeding, which is a rare and spectacular event where over 100 manta rays can feed together and create a chain which the head of each manta ray touches the tail of the manta in front. This creates a huge spiral of up to 200 mantas along with their fellow plankton feeders the Whale Shark.

Air : range between 27°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for all levels, but to enjoy the best out of it, we recommend an AOW level with 30 dives. For the Far North Atolls, currents can be strong with choppy wave action, we recommend only for experienced divers.

December to April offers the best visibility and sea conditions. Although short spells of heavy rainfall can be experienced during the summer months, but this region do offer good diving all year round.

About temperatures
Air : range between 28°C - 32°C year-round.
Sea : very stable and warm, range from 27°C - 29°C year-round.

Wetsuit Recommendation
We recommend a dive Skin or 3 mm wetsuit throughout the year.

Diver requirement
Suitable for divers have AOW level with good drift diving experience, as there can be strong currents in the channels surrounding the islands.

For the Deep South Atolls (Laamu atoll, Gaafu Alifu atoll, Huvadhoo atoll, Fuvahmulah, Addu atoll), domestic flights are usually required to Addu atoll (GAN), Gaafu Alifu atoll (GKK), Huvadhoo atoll (KDM) or Fuvahmulah (FVM). Longer trips like 2 weeks might depart or return to Male.
