Description

Boat

Indo Aggressor is a 29.8 metres long and 8 meters wide finely crafted twin-masted wooden sailing yacht built in the Pinisi style, approved by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in accordance with SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea). Built and powered for comfort, safety and stability, it cruises at 8 knots and has 220-volt power onboard.

Indo Aggressor features a roomy, air-conditioned salon and dining area, sun deck complete with lounge and deck chairs. There is a a TV with media player, and stereo in the main salon, with lots of lounge table and seating area. The outdoor dining area at the front is offering a great view on the landscape.

The chefs onboard will offer guests delicious meals in various styles of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. From appetizer to dessert all with love. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let our booking agents know, so we can put an note for you.

Indo Aggressor's beverages selection includes fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited selection of local beer and wine, which are complimentary. Due to the high duty charged on liquor, we suggest you bring your special brand from the last duty free point. Once you consume alcohol, you become a snorkeler until the next day.

The dive deck is just next to the dining area, and well equipped with personal dive lockers, a camera table with low pressure air hose, two rinse tanks are conveniently located for washing dive equipment and cameras. The aft of the dive deck is equipped with two ladders exit, fin storage and two fresh water showers.


Cabin

Indo Aggressor has 8 guest staterooms, it can accommodate up to 16 guests per trip:

All cabins have ensuite bathroom with hair dryer, independent AC Units, mirrored Wardrobe.

2 Master Staterooms (# 1, 8):
Located on the upper deck, each cabin comes with two singles beds (35”x78”) or one Asian King bed(70” x 78”), with seaview windows.

2 Deluxe Staterooms (#2, 3):
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with a queen size bed (71 x 79 inches), Portholes.

4 Twin Staterooms (# 4, 5, 6, 7):
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with two twin bunk beds (35 x 79 inches), Portholes.


Diving

  • 3 - 4 dives per day depending on itinerary.

  • Only 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.

  • No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.

  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

  • Tanks all with DIN/yoke adaptable valves.

Itineraries

The Indo Aggressor offers different itineraries to several different areas with each departing from a different island/port. The Indo Aggressor has chosen the best time of year to be in these different areas. It is important to know which itinerary you have chosen and the embark/disembark locations.

Komodo National Park Itinerary (7 Nights)

The boat embarks and disembarks in Labuan Bajo. For this itinerary, the whole of Komodo National Park including Banta Island will be covered. Diving activities will primarily be concentrated in Sape Straits (The straits separating Komodo and Rinca Island). Bima Bay and Sangeang Volcano in East Sumbawa will not be covered in this itinerary. There will be hiking in Gili Lawa Darat and also the walk on Rinca Island to see the Komodo Dragons.

Highlights of the itinerary: Manta rays in Makassar Reef & Manta Alley, variety of beautiful soft corals, schooling fishes such as Jacks, fusiliers, Eagle Rays, Napoleon and Bumphead wrasses, Oriental Sweet Lips, black tip sharks, nurse sharks, Oceanic White Tip Sharks, Dolphins, good macro life, The Dragon Walk.


Komodo National Park, East Sumbawa (7 Nights)

The boat embarks and disembarks from Labuan Bajo. The boat will sail west towards Bima Bay in East Sumbawa, covering Sangeang Volcano, Banta Island and North Komodo National Park up to Padar Island in Sape Straits. The south side of Komodo National Park including Langkoi and Horseshoe Bay will not be covered in this itinerary. There will be hiking in Gili Lawa Darat and also the walk on Rinca Island to see the Komodo Dragons. There will also be a visit to Bonto Village in Sangeang.

Highlights of the itinerary: Schooling Angel Fish, Octopus, excellent macro life, excellent wall completely covered with soft corals, Stargazers, bubbling reef, Oriental Sweet Lips, turtles, Ghost Pipefish, cuttlefish, Oceanic White Tips and black Tip sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, schooling fusiliers, Napolean wrasse, The Dragon Walk, bubbling reef in Sangeang Volcano, Bonto Village Visit.


Komodo + Tulamben + Bali + East Sumbawa Itinerary (10 Nights)

The boat embarks from Benoa Harbour in Bali, sailing North-East towards Tulamben, Bali where guests can dive the famous USS Liberty Wreck, Seraya and Drop Off before sailing East covering Moyo and Satonda Island, Bima Bay, Sangeang Volcano, Banta Island and the whole of Komodo National Park. The boat will disembark in Labuan Bajo, Flores. There will be hiking in Gili Lawa Darat and also the walk on Rinca Island to see the Komodo Dragons. On the way from Satonda Island, thousands of fruit bats can be seen in the evening.

Highlights of the itinerary: USS Liberty Wreck, abundance and diverse in soft corals, schooling jacks, oceanic white tip sharks, underwater bubbles from Sangeang Volcano, excellent macro life, octopus, manta rays, eagle rays, occasional Molas in Manta Alley, the Komodo Dragon Walk, fruit bats from Satonda Island.


Komodo National Park Deep South Itinerary (10 Nights)

The boat embarks and disembarks at Labuan Bajo, Flores and the entire cruise is focused on diving South Komodo National Park where we will cover Padar Island, Langkoi, Horseshoe Bay, South West Flores, Mota Island and the Mola Straits (The channel between Rinca Island and Flores). This is only possible in the 1st quarter of the year during the North West Monsoon). Mota Island and Mola Straits are only available in this itinerary only. There will be the walk on Rinca Island to see the Komodo Dragons.

Highlights of the itinerary: Manta rays and occasional Molas in Langkoi, excellent macro life, schooling fishes such as jacks, bumphead wrasses, excellent soft coral growth, torpedo rays, sea apples in Mota Island, the Dragon Walk.


The Forgotten Islands Itineraries (11 Nights)

All itineraries will start and end at the following locations: Maumere/Saumlaki, Saumlaki/Maumere, Saumlaki/Tual, Tual/Saumlaki. The airports you will fly in and out of are: Maumere Airport (MOF), Tual Airport (LUV), Saumlaki Airport (SXK), Ambon (AMQ)

Komodo

Period : Liveaboards run trips year round. May to October are usually the high season.

Visa's : For most nationalities worldwide, a tourist entry visas valid for 30 days can be obtained on arrival at the first Indonesian airport for USD 25.00 in cash. These entry visas cannot be extended on arrival.

Climat : Tropical South Equatorial climate. Wet from Jan to March, Dry from June to Nov. Average daily temperature range is 26° - 30°C (can be 35° to 38°C on land during trekking)

Water : Water temps vary from 24°C in the south of Komodo, to 29°C in the north most of the year

Clothing : Light airy clothes are ideal, winds can be brisk during the dry season of July - September.

Plugs : Type C Europlug, 230V @ 50Hz

Flights : Domestic flights to Labuan bajo is connect from Bali only.

  • Airport taxes on departure are levied at every Indonesian airport. These taxes need to be paid cash in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). The fees for domestic departures vary between IDR 20.000-40.000 per person. At international airports the charges are higher, between IDR 100.000-150.000 per person.
  • Please note that baggage allowance on any domestic flights ticketed separately may be limited to 15kg (33bs) per person only, and any additional weight will be subject to surcharges per kilo.

Bali and Lombok

Period : Liveaboards trips is possible year round. According to the destination, Best time is May to September (Bali) and April to November (Lombok).

Climat : Average daily temperature range is between 26°C to 30°C.

Water : Water temperatures along the north coast are a balmy 27°-30°C (85°-90°F) year-round. While in Nusa Penida and Lembongan area be prepare to have 19°-21°C

Clothing : Casual summer clothing including a light jacket is recommended, as evenings can get cool and liveaboards usually keep their airconditioning high in all indoor areas.

Plugs : Type C Europlug, 230V @ 50Hz

Flights : Lots of international flights directly arrive to Bali, otherwise best connections from Jakarta.
