Itineraries

Duyung are located in the port of Labuan Bajo, Komodo National Park all year round.

Labuan Bajo is the departure point for our cruises in the Komodo National Park, it has an airport, is well served by airlines several times a day, from various cities in Indonesia.

From Bali it takes about 1h30 flight to Labuan Bajo and the view from the plane is already a wonder, a taste of what awaits you!

Upon arrival at the airport you will be picked up by our team and within 10 minutes you will on board the boat for an unforgettable cruise!

The Komodo National Park is located in eastern Indonesia between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores, the Sumba sea in the south (Indian Ocean) and the Flores Sea in the north (Pacific Ocean).

Recognized ''Biosphere Reserve'' in 1977 by UNESCO, the Komodo National Park was created in 1980 to protect the famous Komodo Dragon, the fauna and flora of the region and the extraordinary richness of its marine life. In 1991 it is registered on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Renowned for its diving sites ranked among the most beautiful in the world, its incredible variety of pelagic (dolphins, whales, sunfish, dog-tooth tuna, barracudas, whale sharks etc..), the richness of its colorful coral reefs houses a multitude of rare species, amazing white sand beaches and landscapes, Komodo is a guarantee of non common scenery!

Diving Liveaboard Program

Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, you will be supported by our team to reach the boat and we leave the anchorage for a few hours of navigation with a welcome drink accompanied by a light meal.

We do 1 to 2 dives the first and last day, according to the navigation time and return flight schedules of divers, 3 dives are planned on other days, 1 dive guide for a group of 4 divers max. (each dive can be as long as 60 mins)

The Komodo National Park is vast and the list of dive sites is long, here are some of the most beautiful sites we dive:

North and Central Area:
Batu Bolong, Karang Makassar (Manta point), Tatawa Besar, Tatawa kecil, Sebayor, Siaba kecil, The Golden passage, The Cauldron, Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Lighthouse, Mawang etc..

South Area (Padar & Nusa Kode):
Tree Sisters, Pilarsteen, Secret garden, Cannibal Rock, Yellow wall, The Boulder, Banana Rock, Torpedo etc ..

The itinerary and the choice of dive sites mainly depends on currents and tides, the diving supervisor will establish the best program suited to your cruise to dive all the sites under the best conditions.

A minimum of 20 dives and a good buoyancy in the water is recommended.

Non-divers are also welcome on this cruise, most of the dive sites offer a good show from the surface with a mask and snorkel.
