Boat
Deli is a two masted Turkish style goullet with plenty of character measuring 26 meters long and 7 meters wide. It is operates diving trips in the Gulf of Tadjourah and Seven Brothers.
Designed to offer the opportunity to explore the beauty of Djibouti, the Deli is perfect for lounging after a dive or sleeping under the stars. The boat comes with a shaded outdoor dining room and an indoor saloon where you can relax. Comfortable mattresses are at your disposal at the front of the main deck for those who wish to enjoy the sun.
You will taste a delicious variety of both local and international cuisine prepared on board by the cook. Snacks are available at anytime if you want to eat between two dives.
Deli was specially designed for diving cruises. It has two 7 meters long tender boats dedicated to diving as well as a diving platform. It is equipped with 30 12L tanks and a Bauer air compressor. You will also find charging stations on board for your cameras and video equipments.
Deli constitutes an ideal choice for small groups of friends or families since it can accomodate 12 guests maximum per trip.
Cabins
Deli has 6 cabins and can welcome up to 12 guests per trip.
All cabins come with ensuite bathroom and fans (there is no A/C).
5 Double/Twin cabins:
Located on the lower deck, each cabin comes with a double bed and a single bunk bed, portholes.
1 Quadruple cabin:
Located on the lower deck, this cabin comes with two single bunk beds, portholes.
Diving
- Usually offer 2 - 3 dives per day, night dives are possible.
- Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.
- No dives on the day of embarkation and disembarkation.
- All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Day 1 : Arrival in Djibouti in the early morning, transfer to Elegante.
Day 2 : Diving in Ras Eiro
Day 3 : Diving in Ras Korali, Whale Shark encounters in Nov - Jan.
Day 4 : Diving near the pass of Ghoubet, Whale Shark encounters in Nov - Jan.

7 Brothers - 3D/2N
This trip is for the truly adventurous! Join us onboard the Deli and start with a check dive around Moucha Island, continue to Obock where we stay overnight on the Deli. For guests who wish to arrive Thursday afternoon, we offer the option for an afternoon departure at 15:30 from port the Peche to Deli in Obock.
In the early morning we depart from Obock in small skiffs to Seven Brothers to dive the famous dive site "The Steps". During the day we do 3 dives and snorkel around the Janpanese Gardens. In the evening we stay overnight at Khor Angar Camp. The camp is basic, but the food is great and being so clost to Sept Freres gives us the opportunity to do 2 more dives around the islands the next day before heading back to Djibouti city in the afternoon.
Seven Brothers offer stunning marine life with plenty of pelagic encounters and amazing diversity of coral reefs and dive sites.
Optional excurisons to Lake Assal
A spell binding crater lake in Djibouti. It is located at the western end of Gulf of Tadjourah. It sits 155 meters below sea level , it is the lowest point on land in Africa. Lac Assal is the second saltiest body of water on earth even saltier than the Dead Sea!
Depart from Djibouti at 0830 am. Visit of Lake Assal. Lunch at at ”La Faille” camp. Visit of the volcano area. Return to Djibouti in the afternoon.
All along the journey you will have the possibility to observe Djibouti’s wild animals such as antelopes, monkeys, jackals, rock hyrax, various birds etc.

Useful information
Djibouti
Best time for diving
Mid-October to early February is the best time for Whaleshark encounters. During these months, it is common to see many whale sharks including juveniles who stay within the safe confines of the coastline, and massive plankton blooms also attract manta rays. Outside these months, wildlife will back into deeper waters due to the high sea temperature.
About temperatures
Air : winter months are between 24°C - 26°C, summer months are between 29°C - 34°C.
Sea : range between 27°C - 29°C throught out of the year.
Wetsuit Recommendation
Most divers feel perfectly comfortable in a skinsuit or 3 mm shortie.
Diver requirement
Intermediate to Advanced, strong currents is expected in some dive sites.

Embarkation / Disembarkation
The embarkation and disembarkation are both in Djibouti City, guests need to fly to Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport (JIB).
Visa Requirements
All foreigners arriving in Djibouti should have a valid passport (with at least 6 months left before expiry) Visa can be obtained on arrival by all nationalities, valid for one month, and granted on a single entry basis. A tourist visa can also be obtained at the Consulate of Djibouti in your home country.
Vaccinations
If you are visiting Djibouti for longer than 4 weeks, you may be advised to have a booster dose of a polio-containing vaccine if you have not had one in the past 12 months. You should carry proof of having had this vaccination.
Money Matters
The local currency is the Djiboutian Franc (DJF), but Euro is widely accepted. Credit and debit cards are not widely accepted. Where credit cards are accepted, visa cards are often required. ATMs are normally available in Djibouti City but may not accept Mastercard.
