Itineraries

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) is blessed with over one hundred dive sites to suit all standards and offering great variety. With dozens of islands and numerous sheltered anchorages it would take weeks to see it all and so we have no set itinerary.

The Captain listens to what everyone has to say and with that input and taking account of prevailing weather and other circumstances, he will tailor the trip to give everybody the best cruise that he can. So the sample below is not locked in stone but will give you an idea.

Cuan Law itinerary is never set in stone since we try to offer the best diving and sailing each day, depending on the weather etc.

We always dive or snorkel the wreck of the RMS Rhone off Salt Island and we always spend time at the Baths on Virgin Gorda. Aside from that you can expect to visit many of the islands off the Sir Frances Drake passage including Norman Island, Peter Island, Cooper Island and Ginger Island.

On headboat trips, we usually offer 3 guided dives a day, including a night dive which leaves plenty of time for use of the water toys. On wholeboat bookings, the group can change the itinerary to include more or less diving, or not to dive at all.

There are usually a few guests aboard that arrive as non-divers, but don't stay that way. If you decide that snorkeling just doesn't get you close enough, the instructors on Cuan Law offer a Discover Scuba Diving/Resort Course. Divers are also offered advanced and specialty courses. There are usually three or four PADI instructors among the crew, so you can take any course from resort to Advanced Open Water diver during your vacation.

With so many quiet bays, picturesque anchorages and spectacular diving and snorkeling sites, the BVI is one of the treasures of the Caribbean.

Among the talented crew are two Scuba Instructors and additional Dive Masters. You can take a short Introduction to Scuba course if you are a beginner in a very 'no Pressure' environment.

A vacation aboard the Cuan Law is one of the best ways to explore the gorgeous inlets, beaches and dive sites that the BVI has become so famous for.

The Captain likes to put the sails up and let Cuan Law glide on the wind at least once a day, or as much as the wind permits which is the majority of the time she is under way.
