Description

Boat

Atlantis Azores is a 32 meters long, 5.5 meters wide aluminum dive liveaboard. Whichever exciting destination you choose you will get the most from your vacation. The facilities on board the Atlantis Azores has been set up for divers, including modern safety features and lots of extras to make your dive holiday all you expect.

The main deck has a beautiful air conditioned salon with a flat screen TV, a PS3, a computer station and an assortment of movies, PS3games, board games, card games and books.

The upper deck is partially shaded and has chaises longues, deckchairs, a hot tub for relaxation, a shaded wet bar and a BBQ.

The dive deck is spacious and well equipped with personal gear lockers and an in-place fill station. A roomy three-tier camera table with charging station and rinse tanks are conveniently located for washing dive equipment and cameras.

At the aft of the boat is a large swim platform with warm freshwater showers and exit ladder.

Technical diving and Rebreather diving is possible if pre-arranged.


Cabin

Atlantis Azores has 8 guest cabins, It can accommodate up to 16 guests in absolute comfort:

All cabins have individually controlled air conditioned, private bathroom, outlets.

1 Suite Cabin :
Located on the upper deck, with a double bed and single bed in bunk-style, desk, window and extensive storage space.

7 Deluxe Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, with a double bed and single bed in bunk-style, no porthole.


Diving

  • 4 - 5 dives per day, depending on conditions and route.

  • No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.

  • Only 2 dives will be provided on the day before departure.

  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Tubbataha is located in the Sulu Sea, at the center of the Coral Triangle between Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Rarely visited by tourists due to it's location and it's status as a marine preserve, Tubbataha is made up of two reefs, simply referred to as the North and South Reefs. The North and South Reef both enclose a sandy lagoon. On the southern tip is an islet with a lighthouse. This is used as a rookery for birds and is frequented by turtles.

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Parks is quite simply one of Asia's best diving spots and on the 'wish list' for most avid divers; its home to no less than 573 species of fish, 373 species of corals, 11 species of sharks, 12 species of dolphins and whales, nestling hawksbill and green sea turtle.

Our exciting Malapascua – Cebu charter offers some of the best diving in the Philippines, including Sumilon Island, Pescador Island & Malapascua’s Gato Island, home of a sea crate protected breeding sanctuary. This charter includes another Malapascua favorite, Monad Shoal, known for frequent sightings of thresher sharks as well as manta rays.


Apo Reef & Wrecks of Coron

This itinerary is to the sunken World War II wrecks of Coron Bay via Apo Reef. A typical charter starts with two days of exploring the 34 mile long reef system of Apo Reef, often referred to by many as a “mini-Tubbataha”.

Twenty four Japanese ships were sunk in Coron Bay on September 24, 1944 by the US Navy; you will have an opportunity to dive the best of these during our time there taking in both the unique history of the area and the amazing amount of fish and coral life that now cover the wrecks.

Tubbataha Reef

Period : Liveaboards run trips ONLY from March to June.

Visa's : Nationals from the vast majority of countries, including all ASEAN countries, can enter the Philippines without a visa for a period not exceeding 30 days. Central Asia and India citizens need a visa before arriving. Please check with the nearest consulate of the Philippines about the most-updated imformation.

Climat : Average daily temperature range is 31°C year round. The rainy season is July to December (with the most storms generally in November and December) and the dry season is January to June.

Water : Water temperature averages from 27°C - 30°C. The hottest time of the year is March to May and the coolest is December to February when the water temperature may drop to 24°C - 26°C.

Clothing : Light clothes and sun protection is essential while visiting, early months can be slightly rainy.

Plugs : Type A electrical plug most commonly found (but type B and C sometimes used) 220V @ 60Hz.

Flights : International flights arrive to Manila, with daily domestic connections to Puerto Princesa.

Currency : Local currency is Philippine Peso (PHP), other currencies can be easily changed at banks or money changers, and international ATM's are available. Credit Cards are widely accepted but when travelling to outer island it is recommended to carry sufficient amount of Philippine pesos.


Visayas and Leyte

Period : Liveaboards trip can be offered from December to March.

Visa's : Nationals from the vast majority of countries, including all ASEAN countries, can enter the Philippines without a visa for a period not exceeding 30 days. Climat : There are generally 2 seasons in the Visayas: the rainy season from June to November, and the cool dry season from December to March. Typhoon season is from July to October. Average daily temperature around 28°C.

Water : Water temps stay upwards of 27°C through most of the year

Clothing : Light clothes and sun protection is essential while visiting, but a light jacket is good for possible cooler evenings.

Plugs : Type A electrical plug most commonly found (but type B and C sometimes used) 220V @ 60Hz

Flights : International and domestic flights arrive directly to Cebu.

Currency : Local currency is Philippine Peso (PHP), other currencies can be easily changed at banks or money changers, and international ATM's are available. Credit Cards are widely accepted but when travelling to outer island it is recommended to carry sufficient amount of Philippine pesos.


Coron and Apo Reef

Period : Liveaboards trips is possible year round. The dry season from November to June brings the warmest water and the best visibility.

Visa's : Most nationalities receive a 30-day free visa on arrival, Central Asia and India citizens need a visa before arriving. Please contact the embassy or consulate nearest you for more information.

Climat : The dry season is from late December through May, and the cooler wet season runs from June to November. Average daily temperature is around 29°C, and usually it ranges from 21/30°C to 25/34°C all year round.

Water : Average temperature is 27°C through most of the year.

Clothing : Light clothes and sun protection is essential while visiting, but a light jacket is good for possible cooler evenings, and rain covers for the wet season.

Plugs : Type A electrical plug most commonly found (but type B and C sometimes used) 220V @ 60Hz

Flights : International flights arrive directly to Manila, and Batangas can be reached within a few hours by car. And between Manila and Coron there are daily domestic flights too.

Currency : Local currency is Philippine Peso (PHP), other currencies can be easily changed at banks or money changers, and international ATM's are available. Credit Cards are widely accepted.
