Aldebaran is a 35m long and 7.5m wide wooden hull liveaboard, with 2 Caterpillar 764 HP engines, cruise at 12 knots per hour. It was launched on the 12th of December 2007. Onboard, there are 4 decks in total :
On the top Sky deck, there is an open place with sofas for sunbathing, a great palce for thoese who enjoy the sun.
On the upper deck, there are 2 relaxation area : at the front and back of the boat, the front sundeck is completely open. And the back deck, thre is an outdoor lounge with shaded area equipped with cushioned sofa-bed, benches, tables and drinking water supply.
On the main deck, there is an air-conditioned saloon, with plasma TV, DVD, music system, Book/Magazine/CD/DVD library for entertainment as well as a self-service bar that provide water/tea/coffee all day long.
Aldebaran has a dining area adjacent to the saloon in a separate area with 2 tables, 22 seats and a water dispenser. Guests will be served with meals three times a day in buffet style, which contiains Egyptian tranditional meal, French style dishes, and international cuisines.
Aldebaran has a well equipped dive deck, with personal gear boxes and an in-place fill station, camera storage area, large rinse tanks, 2 air compressors and 1 Nitrox Membran Compressor, as well as freshwater showers, fin storage area, a shared bathroom. Onboard, there are 2 speed boats used for diving.
Aldebaran has 10 comfortable guest cabins, and it can accommodate up to 20 guests in privacy and comfort.
All cabins have ensuite bathroom, individual AC, storage area, 220V power supply facilities.

Located on the upper deck, with a double bed, mini fridge, picture window.
6 Standard Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, with two separate single beds, portholes.
2 Standard Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, portholes.
3 dives per day + alternating additional sunset/night dives.
No night dives are allowed in the Marine Parks (B.D.E)
Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.

BROTHER / DAEDALUS / ELPHINSTONE
Brother / Daedalus is located 150 to 180 km south of Hurghada and belong to the Marine Park. This tour offers wealth of fish, wreck and reef diving. At the right time of year hammerhead sharks, gray reef sharks, white tip sharks, groupers, snappers, napoleons, rays and manta rays are here to be found.
All its dive sites are very close to each other which mean that you can easily move from one place to another. The marine life and the colours of the soft corals are one of the best in the Red Sea. Barracudas, Tuna and Mackerel are often sighted here and on rarer occasions Manta Rays and Dolphins. Hammerheads, Grey sharks, Silvertip Sharks and White tip Reef Sharks can often be spotted out in the blue.
DAEDALUS / ZABARGAD
Daedalus / Zabargad offers dive on steep walls, overhangs, protrusions and caves. The coral pillars create a varied underwater world. A top dive site and shark encounters are not rare here.
DAEDALUS / ZABARGAD / ST. JOHN
Daedalus / Zabargad / St. John offers a bit of everything. A wide variety of fish, dive on steep walls, overhangs, protrusions, caves and a large collection of small reefs with the most remote and most rewarding dive sites in the Red Sea.
ROCKY / ZABARGAD / ST. JOHN
Rocky / Zabargad / St. John is a mixture of diving on steep walls and several small reefs. A special experience is Rocky Island on the steep walls of an exposed so in the open water reef to dive.
NORTH INCL. RAS MOHAMMED
North tour incl. diving in the Ras Mohammed National Park offers a magnificent underwater world rich in flora, Napoleon wrasse, groupers, snappers, fusiliers, blue spotted rays, scorpion fishes, stone fishes, coral fishes and spectacular wrecks can be admires here.
NORTH WRECK TOUR
North Wreck tour offers diving to the wrecks of the S.S. Thistlegorm, Rosalie Moller and Dunraven. The sunken wrecks on the reef of Abu Nuhas like the Ghiannis D., Carnatic, Chrisoula K. and Kimon M. are lined up next to each other on the reef and have found the final resting place here.
NORTH WRECK TOUR + TIRAN
North wreck tour + Tiran offers dive to the wrecks S.S. Thistlegorm, Rosalie Moller, Dunraven, Abu Nuhas with Sea-star, Carnatic, Chrisoula K, Kimon M. and several reefs such as the Gordon, Jackson, Laguna, Thomas and Woodhouse Reef.
Diving Safaris require a minimum level of experience of at least 30 logged dives.
Brothers, Zabargad, Daedalus & Rocky (Marine Park) require 50 logged dives according to the Egyptian Law.
The maximum depth for diving with compressed air or enriched air (Nitrox) in the Red Sea is 40 meters (if the training qualifications and the experience of the diver allow it) according to the Egyptian Law. For Enriched Air diving the maximum depth is up to a partial pressure of Oxygen (PPO2) = 1.4 ATA.
According to the Egyptian law: Brothers, Zabargad, Daedalus & Rocky require a minimum of 50 logged dives, Night dives and snorkelling are prohibited in the marine parks.
Each diver is required to bring along the following mandatory equipment: Dive computer (spare battery recommended), Depth gauge and watch, Dive planer, Regulator with alternate air source, Surface marker buoy (SMB), Torch, Weight belt even with integrated weight jackets, Mask, snorkel, fins and BCD.

Period : Liveaboards run trips year round, with the high season being from March to November.
Visa's : All visitors to Egypt need an entry Visa to enter Egypt. For many nationalities visa can be purchased on arrival in Cairo or Hurghada for 25 USD. However, please check with the appropriate consulate to ensure you have the proper documentations.
Climat : The climate of the Marsa Alam and Hurghada have a subtropical desert climate with mild warm winters and hot summers.

Water : the average Water temps in the summer months you can expect 27°- 29°C/ 80°- 84°F, while in the winter months the temps can drop down to 23C/ 74°F.
