Description

Boat

Adora is a 37 meter long, 10 meter wide tri-deck fiber yacht, it was built during 2013 to 2014, and finally start to operate since October 2014. It is running by a well experience Maldives Dive Feelts company, mean to provide you the best liveaboard experience in Beautiful the Maldives. It suits any medium budget travelling who wish to have an outsanding diving liveaboard trip in the Maldvies.

Adora is stylishly designed, the yacht provides maximum tranquility at sea. Features a large interior and exterior living space. Great detail has been given to achieve the highest standards for quietness and comfort.

Adora has a large indoor salon with comfortable dining area which is fully air conditioned. The salon equipped with cozy stylish seating area, a TV, DVD/CD players, Music system, a small library containing books and movies. There is a bar besides the salon can offer guests various refreshments during the cruise.

On the sundeck, there are both open area and shade area for guests to enjoy the free time between the dives, there are sun-charis for guests to enjoy the sunbath, and sitting area for a couple of freinds enjoy some chat, there is also an outdoor bar can provide drinks.

Adora offer a range of delectable dining choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chefs prepare international cuisine with an Asian flair or the most traditional Western dishes according to guests' taste.

All diving is done from the dive dhoni boat, which provide comfort and function at the same time. All the equipment stay in the dive dhoni (compressors, tanks etc.) in order to keep the noise away from the main boat when filling the tanks.


Cabin

Adora featuring 11 spacious cabins, with different cabin type for choose, it can accommodates 21 guests on board:

All cabins equipped with ensuite-bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, TV and media system, storage area, and other cabin facilities.

4 Standard Cabins:
Located on the lower deck, equipped with a double bed and a single bed, portholes.

2 Standard Cabins:
Located on the lower deck, equipped with two single beds side by side, portholes

1 Superior Cabin:
Located on the main deck, equipped with a double bed, seaview windows, this cabin is sold as single cabin.

4 Ocean View Suites:
Located on the upper deck, equipped with a double bed and a single bed, and private balcony.


Diving

  • 17 dives per week, include 1 night, depending on conditions.

  • Only 2 dives will be provided on the day before departure.

  • No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.

  • All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

Central Maldives

Period : Liveaboards only run trips year round, with the high season being from November to May.

Visa's : Visas are not required in advance but are issued on arrival. Travelers will be issued a 30 days visa free of charge with a passport of at least 6 months validity.

Climat : Northeast Season: December-April (dry monsoon). Southwest season May-November (wet monsoon). Temperatures are around 30˚ C and humidity is 60-80%. Cyclones are rare but possible in April/May and October/November. Average daily air temperature ranges from 28°C to 34°C throughout the year.

Water : Water temps stay consistent all year round at or above 27 °C through the central atolls, sometimes even reaching a balmy 30 °C. Because visibility is so clear, it is best to wear at least a rash vest for some sun protection underwater.

Clothing : Light airy clothes are perfect. Be prepared for plenty of sunshine most of the year.

Plugs : Type G, 2-pin electrical plugs with 230 V @ 50Hz

Flights : International flights arrive directly from many locations to Male. There are reliable and extensive domestic air carriers flying to many places within the country.

  • Alcohol and pork products are prohibited. A ‘reasonable quantity’ of tobacco is permitted.
  • A local Airport Development Charge (ADC) of US$25 for all international travellers over 2 years of age may be introduced shortly.

Currency : The Local currency is the Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR/Rf), but is rarely used on tourist resorts. Most transactions are made in US Dollars but other currencies are accepted. Travelers cheques and major credit cards are widely accepted but 5% may be added for credit card transactions. Banks in Male will cash travelers cheques into US Dollars and Rufiyaa may also be purchased. ATM’s can be found in Male.


South Maldives

Period : Liveaboards run trips from January to end of April, during the north east monsoon.

Visa's : Visas are not required in advance but are issued on arrival. Travelers will be issued a 30 days visa free of charge with a passport of at least 6 months validity.

Climat : Southwest season May-November (wet monsoon). Temperatures are around 30˚ C and humidity is 60-80%. Average daily air temperature ranges from 28°C to 34°C throughout the year.

Water : Because of the deep water surrounding the southern atolls, water temperature range from a low of 24°C to a high of 27°C.

Clothing : Light airy clothes are perfect. Be prepared for plenty of sunshine during this time of the year

Flights : International flights arrive directly from many locations to Male. There are regular flights south to both Kadhadoo Airport and Kahdheedhoo Airport.

Very beautiful boat with awesome crew, we spent one week in the central Maldives atoll, and it was amazing, lots of mantas, whale shark, dolphins... such a dream trip, We highly recommend this boat, reasonable price offered by Dive and Cruise with great booking & after booking services, we love it! If you are not sure, just go for it!
