Visiting Cajoma in Labuan Bajo

In August 2016, before i went for a beautiful Komodo liveabord trip, before the cruise, i stopped in Labuan Bajo for a few days in order to visit some of our new partners here, and Cojoma IV is absolutely on my list...

The Cajoma IV is rented by a dive centre based in Labuan Bajo which runs by a Belgian family with a passion for diving! They provide professional service with good personal cares to every one onboard, the atmosphere are very friendly and welcoming.

When the owner - Benny, who showed me this beautiful boat, i was truly amazed by how lovely it is! The boat is beautiufl finished by fine wood, and even if when it was not compeletely ready to welcome guests yet (when i visiting the boat, it was doing cleanning), you can feel all the small touches in every details:

The Chase Boats
All dives and snorkel are made from the two accompany chase boats that can easily holds up to 6 people each. They are both fitted with a dive ladder for easy exiting and entries. In between dives, guests may use them to snorkel, explore secluded beaches & view piont, visit the famous Komodo dragon, or just relax with a cold drink and mid-afternoon snack.

The Diving
Benny told me divers may dive up to 3 to 4 dives per day plus night diving. Normally Cajoma IV offers 14 dives in total during a short 4D/3N trip, which include 4 full diving days: 3 or 4 dives on the check-in day, 3 or 4 dives on the second day, 5 dives on the thrid day, then 3 dives on the last day before check out.

As the boat plan to dive eveyday during the entire trip, so it is important for guests to arrive one day beofre the cruise in Labua Bajo and leave one day after the cruise. Becase the trips usually stars at 9AM on the first day and ends at 5PM on the last day.

The Boat
The boat was fantastic. I've been on many liveaboards, i can tell 100% that this little lovely boat is just adorable, perfect for a small group of friends/family, and it's children friendly, the boat can max. hosts up to 10 guests per trip, but i would recommend 8 adults + 2 kids for max comfort.

Onboard, there are everything you need for a wonderful liveaboard trip: a spacious outdoor dining/lounge area; an organized dive area with large equipment wash tank and camrea table; a deck bathroom with shower; a samll but cozy indoor lounge with TV and snack bar, as well as seating area; a sundeck with lounge chairs for sunbathing or napping, and even a jacuzzi!

The Cabins
There are total 4 guest cabins, all comes with A/C, and ensuite bathroom. The Master Cabin on the main deck comes with a double bed, and even has a large pravite balcony with sofa; The two double cabins and the twin cabin are located on the lower deck, all comes in a very good size - larger than most of the Indonesia baot.
